Good God you should see the snow coming down now!! It's more or less a whiteout. Now today is the type of day where they should close the office as the commute home will be a nightmare. They ain't gonna do that after closing the office last week with no snow. The weather idiots have already upped the snowfall amounts from this morning.

My dad met him at some sort of awards banquet downstate back in November, and they got to talking about my BPA experience and such. He gave my dad all of his contact info and told me to get a hold of him, but I decided that was a lost cause after the AcPro fiasco...

You probably wouldn't be working in Houghton, since you don't write code or manage computer networks. He'd probably just talk to you and maybe give your name and a recommendation to someone downstate for a possible internship/co-op.

Get your GPA up and contact him in the fall, perhaps.

I just learned that some yahoo has created computer rankings for peewees in MN for all levels, including C.:eek: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

On the other hand our team is ranked 18 in State!:o

In the yahoo's defense, he was trying to find a way to compare associations and the team rankings were a fall-out.

I got 51/50 on the one I took two weeks ago.

It was ridiculous out earlier - a real winter day. About dämn time. Plus, my stats professor didn't feel like driving in the snow, so she gave us back our quizzes (58 out 60!) and let us go. This just meant that I had to trek to the post office sooner. :mad: :mad: :mad:

It's still f*ing snowing here!. Another 6-8" since 6 am this morning for a total of almost a foot, and it's supposed to snow for at least a few more hours. I wouldn't mind, but it's that heavy wet crap that's just nasty. :mad:

After dinner it's back out to clear the driveway yet again... anyone care to help? Woud it be wrong of me to offer free beer in exchange for snow removal? ;)

I should have been more precise, the hockey and curling uniforms seemed rather boring to me.

I am now watching the re-broadcast of the Pairs competition from last night on USA. Who-ever edited it should be fired. They cut to commercial as soon a the couple is done skating and then when they come back from commercial the next couple is taking the ice. No scores, no standings update, nothing. Heck one of the times they even cut out the intro to the skaters, so I have no idea who they were except that they were Chinese. (I think)

Your brother and I were having the same issue when we were watching last night - it was totally disjointed (I think some it was shown out of order). Awful, just awful.

So, it's not just USA or DirecTV. (I thought maybe DirecTV was somehow forcing in extra commercials or something)
At least after the final skaters, they did stay with the broadcast long enough to show the final results. The couple I missed the scores for finished second. Don't know if I agree with that, but I really have not been paying enough attention to criticize.

ARGH - Satellite dish is out of commission due to weather (it's barely snowing here - I was just outside in a t-shirt and boots). Can't find a "spotbeam". :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: It hasn't been out during previous bad weather...
