Fair enough.
And Houghton to Rhinelander isn't a terrible drive. I used to do Marquette to Eagle River area all the time, and that sucked. M-95 is one of the worst stretches of road in the whole UP, IMO.
Cue all the non-UP types and the same litany of "The UP sucks" jokes in 5...4...3...2...

What really scares me though is the extreme lack of companies that had Business or Management listed in who they were looking for...
I've already resigned to the fact that I very well may not get a co-op or internship ever, and getting my MBA is probably quite a realistic necessity.
Cue all the anti-ctf types and the same litany of "Admiral AcPro isn't going to make it through Tech" jokes in 5...4...3...2...

My sister had a chance to intern with Medtronic, turned it down to do undergrad research. Now she wonders why she can't find a job...:rolleyes:
She should have listened to her brother, who told her that this exact thing would happen.

M-73 is worse. but when traveling from MQT to Eagle River, you get to drive on M-69!

In your sister's defense I too would question the advice of somebody who chose to move to Houghton for college. :eek:

Are you still interested in going to Grand Forks for the Tech-Sioux series? I'm looking to order tickets. As of now, Shirtless guy and Biddlyn will be there. Brent and I are going to be driving up Thursday night, after I get done with work. You are welcome to ride with.

I actually don't mind M-73. It's curvy enough to keep it from getting too boring. M-95 is straight, and it's just an ugly area of the UP (especially from US-41 through just north of the Marquette/Dickinson county line.)
And M-69 is so short, I barely notice it.

Fair enough, but unlike all the other M-xx highways, you can't do 65+ on M-73. :o

That will happen if you puss out and snooze your way through the Management concentration. Do your concentration in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or Marketing, put in your career fair & online searching time, and you should find an internship in the next 2-3 years. Christ, even I got one at Ford.

Also, for the love of Teslak, don't do your MBA at Tech. Get out and see some other part of the country. :cool:
