Whooooole lotsa beechin'. ;) To be fair, the weather did suck something fierce in Marquette yesterday, and I imagine it isn't getting better.

Morning, Lodge. I know they're just being thorough and all, but when I have known for a week that I didn't get the job, you don't really need to send a letter saying "we have received your application materials", then a week later confirm that yes, I really didn't get the job. :rolleyes:

My husband was complaining about the same thing, well except for the idiots on the road. Probably because once you see the way people in NC drive in the snow, you realize that the peeps in Conn. really don't drive that badly.

Yeah, and to make matters worse, they really aren't doing much to the roads, and NMU is historically really, really, really bad for snow removal on campus. I can see why they're upset, but at the same time, this is what you sign up for when you go to school up here.
I, however, was slightly less than thrilled when the 5:45am call came told me not to come in for my sub day I picked up yesterday because GHS was closed. :(

They have to make it by that point, just for that reason.
I saw that the Houghton and Hancock schools had delays today! :eek: They don't do that very often, so it must have been fun up there this morning, too! I wonder if that kept anyone away from the Job Fair up there.

Just received my pre-trial conference date for a week from today, 6 hours north. Will be calling to try getting that adjourned because travelling 6 hours each way, when I have school that day and the day after, isn't really feasible.

However, it is awesome that I'm scheduled for a pre-trial conference to try getting a reduction, hopefully I can work something out with them.

Not at all.

The womens team has a Bemidji gal on it. I am good friends with a couple of the guys from the last mens olympic team who are also from Bemidji. I dated a couple of the girls (while in high school/college) who were on the womens olympic team that competed in Salt lake City. Bemidji is a curling hotbed. :)

I tried it once in Grand Forks and had a blast. There's a curling club out here that Quiz and I want to go to. Truly, it's my only hope of making an olympic roster. :)

1-1 after two ends. Not bad.

Well, atleast it has that going for it. It certainly isn't a hockey hotbed, especially since losing to Bob Morris seems to be in style.;)

Curling is awesome!

Now I'm going to go back to studying for my Intro to Business exam. So much of this is common sense though.
