Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

Maybe the posting is what he was referring to as "work"... ;)

OK, wise Lodge members--what is your best cure for body aches? I've tried taking Aleve, but it didn't do much.

Heating pad works for me. If you're daring, have a "muscle relaxant" of the alcohol variety, since it is a relaxant. ;) Lie on your back (oh, great, here come the comments...) on the couch, staring at the ceiling for a while. Basically, do anything you can so that your muscles/etc have zero work to do except sit there. It's all about support for your body (crap, there's another setup), where your body doesn't have to work, it can just repair itself.

You singled out:
"Lie on your back" and "It's all about support for your body"

But not:
"If you're daring, have a 'muscle relaxant' of the alcohol variety", "on the couch, staring at the ceiling for a while", and "do anything you can so that your muscles/etc have zero work to do except sit there"? :p

Well the whole thing sounded like a softball, so I just highlighted the easy ones. :o

Nice job by a Tech alum tonite. Chris Durno tied the game at 3-3 for the Avs with 5 1/2 minutes to play versus Atlanta before Colorado won nine sconds into OT. DU alum Paul Stastny had three assists for Colorado.

Just saw that. Hard to believe he's finally sticking in the NHL at 29.

Good mornin' to tLodge! ;)

Yeah, it's early but I have to go out and clear the driveway. We didn't get nearly as much snow as they were prediciting (only had about 4-5" when I got home from work last night). I can't tell for sure but it looks like maybe another 4-6" with some drifting. Probably a good deal of ice out there too.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

Hi
No snow once again:D but we are getting some nasty winds from that storm that rocked the mid atlantic region

Good morning to you to, RPIalph. :)

Off on a family vacation tomorrow morning. You all can hold down teh Lodge while I'm away, right? I mean, I don't want to come back home and discover everything's been cleaned up, you know? I expect the exact same poor behavior as when I'm around. I don't want to hear the neighbors explaining to me how the police weren't called, or that it was really quiet, or anything else unusual, understand? All right then.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

Good morning, Lodge. It's a nice 27 degrees here with only a slight wind; made running this morning a little more pleasant. :)
