Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

So I have a meeting in a couple weeks at BSU to pick out my seats for the new arena. The issue is that the arena is not complete enough to get a feel for sight lines etc. I am sure there won't be a bad seat in the place but still it would be nice to be able to actually get in the arena and check things out. FWIW my brother and I will be getting 7 seats.

May as well bring your fishing gear along and head up to Red/LOW for a couple of days ;)

It is difficult finding time to fish when you are trying to organize a ttp. :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

I dont know how exactly they disapate, but it was 40 miles from where I sleep.

How are things going for the winger? Are you enjoying living in the midwest?

You need to recite the Man Mantra when leaving the house
Spectacles
Testicles
Wallet and keys

Although I'd add cell phone too, but it doesn't have the same "flow" :)

Mel has testicles? Hmmmm.... You spend alot of time with a person and you still don't really know them. Apparently she hide it well. :p

Haha - I wondered the same thing and Repped her. Apparently there are several cities in MN and MI that share the same name, including the one I live in :p

There is a Muppetville in Michigan?

uh, multi-tasking?
Sadly, I have lots of down time while ice fishing. :o
That's why I bring something (something) to liven things up a little bit.

You can always forsake your cribbage board for a LT with Power Point to plan your ttp. :)

Mr. Shot,

tooth·brush (tōōth'brŭsh')
n. A brush used for cleaning teeth.

:D
Hmmmm, that's supiciously good timing on your part. I went to the dental hygienist yesterday morning for a cleaning. No cavities. Got a bagful of dental products to keep promoting good home health care. Talked for ten minutes or so my pal who runs the practice. Set another hygienist appointment for eight months later this year and was on my way to the office.

Hey Jethro, speaking of teeth, how's that one tooth you still have doing? :D Bong hits and Crown turn it a nice shade of brown, do they?

Hard to have cavities in dentures. ;)

I suggest getting a seat directly in back of the goal the BSUs will defend for two periods so you can see where most of the scoring will take place. :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

:( put all the toothbrushes in the dishwasher and mask up.

Is it bad that I associated those actions with the arrival of the SI Swimsuit Edition and not the second child getting sick?

'Morning, Lodge. Was supposed to sub today, but woke up feeling like a truck hit me. Headache, bodyaches, sore throat, cough, chills, the works. :(

You mean the one I work in in MI?

Speaking of work...I'm technically working for a new company now. Something, something, our division got bought out by a private equity company. We're in week 2 of new company. Not sure if changes will be made. Might actually stick around long enough to find out. Things at least seem hopeful.

We were on the news last week with our ribbon cutting ceremony. I laughed that it was big news that we've got 200 people and will be hiring 50 more in the next year or so. Umm......nice spin, don't mention the 40 or so we laid off last month, or however many last year.

It was fine until I went to the DMV. I was seriously considering giving up my CDL because they were making it such a pain to convert my licence. And I have never met unhappier, ruder people in my life. And I work for a french company. We know rude!!!

Otherwise it doesnt seem that different from Mass. Other than I think the drivers here are worse.

I did get to stay downtown last week and did some workout of the AON building. I was considering taking over my bosses office since he is never there and it is on the 79th floor looking over lake michigan. I did a little walking around, and I am looking forward to exploring the city when it is a little less chilly out. Actually if it was JUST cold I would of proably have been exploring, but I do have to say when that wind kicks up, it is something else. And more like a brutal something else than anything else.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

I don't think anyone has ever made that joke before.

You're funny. That is so fresh and original. Have you thought about starting an act?

Sarcasm is my favorite, you know.
I never picked up on the joke ever before, my sincere apologies.

That's why they call it the Windy City, dear. They weren't just bull****ting you.

The 79th floor, huh? Is that the John Hancock Building?
