I don't care if I shouted in the Extras thread already: That's awesome, sir.I had my three month check-up today. The news was all good. PSA was undetectable, no sign of cancer.
Back when we were both young and fresh-faced, people occasionally told me I looked like Dave Foley. Could be worse! If you/anybody are interested, Kids in the Hall got back together recently and made an 8 part mini series called "Death Comes to Town", which is currently airing on CBC and should eventually be put on air in the US.
This is crazy, Ralph. I think in the five years in lived in DC we had a total of 15 inches of snow, and 12 of that came at one time. Which was a shock. And yet this year it just keeps coming! We're supposed to get 1 to 2 feet of snow starting sometime on Friday and going into Saturday.
Speaking of that snow, I still am interested to know what you prefer when shopping at a liquor emporium. (Don't say, "Sales!" )Not a bad idea if I have the time.
We have had many years with only a dusting. A lot of potential snowfalls just become rain here. This is crazy, Ralph. I think in the five years in lived in DC we had a total of 15 inches of snow, and 12 of that came at one time. Which was a shock. And yet this year it just keeps coming!
Lottery tickets. (Just kidding.) I am actually not much of a drinker.Speaking of that snow, I still am interested to know what you prefer when shopping at a liquor emporium. (Don't say, "Sales!" )

Me either. I stick to drinking only on days that end in Y.Lottery tickets. (Just kidding.) I am actually not much of a drinker.
Great news!Good evening Lodge. I had my three month check-up today. The news was all good. PSA was undetectable, no sign of cancer. Woohoo! I go back again in three months and if the results are the same, I will have PSA checks every six months for the next five years, and then annually. Doctor and patient are both pleased.

Great to hear!!

Schools closed for 3 days over 6-8 inches of snow!?!The DC/Northern VA area sure did something to **** mother nature off. A college friend of mine who lives up there says he feels like he's back in Ithaca, which he moved away from to avoid this type of weather.
Just looking at some scattered snow showers here over the weekend. Doubt anything will come of it. But who knows - schools just re-opened today after we received 6-8 inches of snow on Saturday!
Can't wait to see the Big Red slap around the Skating Deerticks on national television tomorrow night.
Seriously, could this week be any longer? After Monday and Tuesday, even the calendar said Wed Thu Fri.

Some people need to suck it up.
I'll take option two.To be fair, that's not like well-behaved Midwestern snow. It's the kind that rapidly becomes heavy, icy, sticky nastiness, and even the best Midwestern drivers can barely get through.
...or maybe the East Coast just sucks.
If they enforced that policy here, a lot of people would be taking a lot of leave. We must be here from 9-11 and 1-3 and can start as early as 6:30 and stick around as late as 6:00 (I think), but none of that is enforced.
