I had taken tilapia out to make tonight. Then got a last minute "FOH board meeting tonight!" email. Where we had pizza from T. Anthony's. Which was excellent. I'll have the tilapia tomorrow.

Congrats to the Rat! Good job. I recruited a Kaydet to the kid's soccer team. This kid who played hockey with my kid two years ago is a 7th grader at STA. He quit hockey this year because he gets on the bus at 7 AM gets off at 6 PM then has 2 hours of homework - no time for hockey. He played house league soccer last year and he's a big strong kid with a big leg, good on the back line. He's excited to play something. Nice family too.

DU has won seven NCAA hockey titles, and that number doesn't even come close to the sport in which the Pioneers have won their greatest number of NCAA titles: skiing. In fact the Pioneers are the defending NCAA ski champs and last year's title was the school's twentieth [20th]. Nordic skiing is an important part of NCAA ski meets.

Skiing is the only NCAA sport in which co-ed squads compete for a title. That is to say men and women comprise the team which is crowned the NCAA ski champion. There aren't separate titles for men's and women's teams.

If your kid becomes proficient in his event you might keep DU in mind when it comes times to look at colleges. And let's face it, secretly you've always harbored a deep ambition to cheer for the Denvers. Your kid may be your only hope to do so. :D :D

Actually I failed, I think I'm bringing him to Grand Forks for a college visit during spring break. I failed. ;)

OK, I understand that the Broomball schedulers had their work cut out for them with all the cancellations. However, I'm REALLY ticked that the ONE game of Flashy's I knew for certain I could come see this year got rescheduled. **** Foopers.

bartending is one of those jobs you are either good at or you're not. You have to deal with about 9 things going on at once when the bar is busy. And you have to be fast. That's all there is to it. It is a ridiculously fun job, but it's also highly stressful.

I had a similar thing happen several years ago. I had the tranny rebuilt for less than half of buying one from the local dealer. If you can find a local transmission mechanic, this might be a viable option for you.
