Re: Rep Retirement #151: Stop Letting Baukin make polls!

Hola, finally had a nice day outside, so I went and played 18. Packing up and heading to Albany tomorrow to fly to Tampa for the next 5 days. Bringing my clubs with me, so hopefully I'll get to play another round or 2. Also might be going to the Times Forum to see Avicii (DJ) spin Thursday night, we'll see. Been a while since I've been to a show/festival.

Re: Rep Retirement #151: Stop Letting Baukin make polls!

So the last few days at work and at home have gone too well. Got to hang out with a friend that I haven't hung out with in probably a year on Sat night, work is smooth (little to no OT in the past week or so), and weather's been grand (drove around for about an hour after work with the top down, just because it was beautiful out).

This is scary.

Please don't let anything bad happen in, oh, about 3 weeks' time...

May I second that thought?

'Evening, Lodge. Winding things down going in to Grandma's Marathon, both for work and for the race itself.

first time watchin hardcore pawn. i want to take a shower :p
Anybody else read that wrong and had a hard time putting that other statement together with Mookie??

Knocked out another 4 wagons, and now giving the Girlfriend grief about not coming tonight after she said she would come. Had this surprise HS graduation for her Cousin today. On a Tuesday. Who the hell has graduation on a Tuesday?? Sounds fishy to me.

Anyways, about another 5 more wagons and I'll have the barn filled for the year. And the next five days look pretty clear of rain to me. :D

Re: Rep Retirement #151: Stop Letting Baukin make polls!

Hi lodge. So on my coworkers last day (last Friday) I handed in my resignation. Only 8 days to go of working in Jackson County. New job is 20 miles from my house instead of 50. Oh, and better pay, better challenges and better atmosphere. I'm looking forward to it.
Congrats!

2 miles each way to work.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! wednesday. sigh.

Almost done copying the pics I put together for Senior kids. I am still dreaming of sorting pictures and of work. Ick.

Re: Rep Retirement #151: Stop Letting Baukin make polls!

Morning Lodge.

On the commute front - my current job is 16.3 miles door to door from my house. Which would not be bad if it were not through one of the worst freeway exchanges in town (35W-94). Fortunately it is not bad as long as I use flex hours to get in by 7 and leave by 3:30. With summer hours (four 9s and a 4) I come in at 6:30 and leave at 4. Working so far *crosses fingers, knocks wood*.

Re: Rep Retirement #151: Stop Letting Baukin make polls!

Morning, Lodge. Current work commute is about 7 miles, school commute is about 15miles.

Job interview at the ER today. Really really really want this job. Likely increase of several $ per hr (which when you make 10$/hr is a big deal), plus in-hospital experience. Commute is about 20 miles, but highway most of the way and I'm averaging 37-40mpg these days.

Hey Lodge.

The gf left for Montana this morning and we won't be able to see each other until June 29th. I'm gonna miss her!

My commute is about 15 miles each way, and it takes 25-30 minutes to drive it with traffic.

Maybe the Swedish girls will help ease the pain....;)
Nah, I'm a taken man. :p
The trip itself will be nice though, I'm looking forward to seeing Sweden, partially because that is where my family is originally from.

I never would have guessed, given your last name. :p

Changing an 8:00AM meeting to 3:00PM and sending out the meeting update at 7:45AM the day of the meeting does not make for a happy clown. I wake up and get into work a half-hour early every Wednesday for this meeting. If someone's going to change the meeting, that person needs to get the update out the day prior.

I'm sitting alone in a conference room where my 8 am meeting was scheduled. Guess it's not happening since I'm the only one here. Nice of them to tell my but does give me a little extra time to surf message boards with no chance of anyone looking over my shoulder. So I guess it's not all bad.

Good morning, Lodge!

Hopefully the phone will ring with some happy news today. I need it.
