Heh. Funny.That's the year I was born.
The saddest thing is I've become the butt of ALL of the youngin' jokes lately. At the fitness/rehab center, everyone is at least 10 years older than me with the exception of one girl who's only 5 years older than me. Then, the bf is 8 years older, so all of his wonderful friends constantly harass me about it.

Yeah, a bit before 7 when i posted that. A little after 8 now. There's a casino here, but i don't want to convert to euros. The travel security people here (their TSA) carry automatic weapons around the airport. Awesome.Geee..... How are you going to kill time there at the airport??

Also, I finally got confirmation that my uncle who lives in Germany will be coming to our wedding. He was like my second dad growing up, so this has completely made my day already.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! moanin' monday.
We got 10.5 in 1987 and thought we made out like bandits. I was out of grad school by 1992. How to feel old when my body feels like someone ran it over after all the yard work yesterday, and the day before.

It was like that in Rome, too. They had three levels of police on the streets, the beat cop police, the campino-police (I think I got that word right, it's been 12 years now), and the holy **** you're ****ed police - who we never saw. The campino police would stand on street corners with sub-machine guns and in full riot/SWAT gear. That couldn't be a fun job when it was 85+ and humid every day were there.
