Some SENANICANS at the Pac fight tonight, per Sloe Gin. Pac wanted to watch the end of the bouncyball game, fight delayed. He's either an idiot, playing mind games, or both.

Re: Rep Retirement #151: Stop Letting Baukin make polls!

Hockey was too important to me, being a two year captain, devoting everything to it, etc, so similar to Brent, I didn't touch alcohol until my career was over.

She's a solid 200 miles from me. She's with some friends at her cabin, and from what I've gathered, the crash happened just two places down from her place. So I'm assuming her friend was en route to her cabin, or made a horrific mistake of leaving the cabin after consuming alcohol. She's very traumatized, to say the least.

Moving towards drunk now. Hope to get to the Twins game tomorrow. Looks dicey.

*raises glass* My deepest condolences.

Much appreciated. I just finally was able to hear her out and understand the story. The two people involved were both at my girlfriend's cabin. One, her best friend, had two drinks, and decided he wanted to take a leisurely cruise around the lake on his motorcycle before he drank anymore. Another kid, who wasn't at the cabin very long, asked to borrow somebody's crotchrocket. The owner of this bike said no, you've been drinking all night. The owner apparently didn't have the keys, as the kid who was previously denied access to the bike managed to get the keys.

Her best friend was estimated at cruising at about 25 mph around the lake. Kid #2 on the crotch rocket was estimated at going at a speed of nearly one hundred miles per hour. Kid #2 ran into my girlfriend's best friend. Both were taken to the hospital, where best friend was pronounced dead, and kid #2 is still alive, I dont know the exact condition.

The scene, as described to me, was of that of a horror movie, just two doors down from her cabin. I won't go any further with that.

Another unfortunate mishap of idiotic decision making caused from alcohol consumption. :(

So sorry Mav. :(

Yesterday was the perfect lake day. Love the south wind as our cabin is on the south shore so it was calm in front of our place so the lad could ski all he wanted. Ran low on gas before he could drag my carcass around the lake. :)

Good morning Lodge.

Sorry Mav.

Jeez Mav, that is awful. I am so sorry. That drunk kid will probably be spending some quality time behind bars, because in addition to causing the accident while drunk, he basically stole that other guy's motorcycle. There's a special place in hell for drunk drivers.

Yeah, it's basically vehicular manslaughter.

And don't you just love how the drunk ***hat that causes the crash in the first place is often the one who survives/walks away?
