GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! terrible tuesday is here and is indeed terrible so far

So, I live in the semi 'country'. I am supposed to wake up to birds chirping etc and usually do. THis morning the azzhat next door is out at 6fffing 30 hammering. Then at 6fffffing45 the jack hammer from the sewr workers starts. Now I have stereo hammering at different pitches. It was ugly hot last night so I didn't sleep well until it cooled off somewhere around 3 ish. If you do the math :shudder: that does not leave much sleep. What the Hell happened to the sound ordinances?

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand they just blew thru the water main again- no water, no shower. I think I need to just aquiese and lose my mind.

I actually enjoy shopping at Ikea. They're actually starting to get some nicer/sturdier stuff in. Granted, most of it is still assembled with the peg and screw construction, but the bookshelf and dvd shelves I bought lasted the move (and it wasn't a gentle one -- my dad tossed them in the pick up). Some of the new stuff is pretty nice. Cost-wise, I don't think it's particularly expensive and (with some creative packing) we got all the pieces I listed into a Honda CRV along with 3 people (granted we had to tie the door closed, but only for about 2 inches, if that). They "flat pack" everything, so it's easier to move. (Brent -- my mom stated that when she retires she wants to be the forklift person at either Sam's or Costco. Tcbg and I thought of you :p ) I can talk the money part, if you're interested, via email.
