Re: Rep Lodge 80: In a row?

I am also jealous. :(

Now I want German beer. And maybe German food. I wonder if I can find a friend to go to Metzger's with me. mmmm.....delicious German food and beer.

German food does sound good. I was lazy today and got food from the Asian place down the street. SOOOOO good. DL can attest to it, also. Beef in garlic sauce with celery, red peppers, pea pods, broccoli, and carrots FTW.

what does this say about me???:

today i'm coming out of the bldg and into the mall to grab some breakfast and i see a guy with a blue/maize "Muck Fichigan" t shirt.

my first step is toward him ready to kick him and yell, "hey!! wtHottie doesn't appreciate your humor!!"

then i remembered i was a work. :o :p

Mookie, I wish I knew a member for you. I do not now, nor do I ever intend to play golf, so I'm pretty short on knowledge of who is a member where.

that's ok... just that i'd like to hook up my fellow club member for his trip out there. he calls around and begs to get out everywhere. he's already set at cherry hills, but can't get out at castle pines.

maybe i'll hit up swami... he runs in those circles i'll bet.

(and not necessarily need a golfer, but a high brow socialite... like i'd imagine Ralph is... sitting at the club playing canasta in his boxers while white jackets serve him ;) )

Re: Rep Lodge 80: In a row?

Do you have the piggy flu, or just regular flu?
I don't think you can tell the difference between the two without a lab test to confirm which one it is. The symptoms are basically the same.
I ask because if he has it, he probably gave it to Hoven, who is coming to New Belgium with me and Sloe Gin this weekend.

We may need to add a quarantine wing to tLodge :D

Probably the oinker flu, but it'd pretty much cleared up by last night. Besides, alcohol kills germs, don't it? :D

This just in: Spaten Oktoberfest has arrived at my local beverage center. :D :D :D

Another :(

Though Schell's Zommerfest is enough to keep me happy.

Evening, Lodge. Feeling about as good as ever today, which is fortunate, since I'm making the long trip up to da UP tomorrow and I need to be in drinking form. Depending on who's driving and where we go, I'll either be having a few drinks or a LOT of drinks Friday night. ;)

And picking my arse up at the unholy hour. :( :p

Have fun. The birthday girl is funny enough sober, I can only imagine her loaded at 21st birthday standards. I was invited but I have to work at 8am :(

So? Show up for an hour at least - she'll most likely be toasty by then anyway :D If I have to wake my arse up at 5 AM to take Brent to the dayum airport before driving up, you can stay awake until 1:15 AM ;)

Re: Rep Lodge 80: In a row?

I'm not all sad faced about not being able to get whatever beer was mentioned. Because, well, I don't drink beer. So there! :)

OK, so, at 12:27pm today I posted in the baseball thread over at TWoP and said how we haven't heard anything about Jerry Remy (Red Sox color guy and president of Red Sox Nation!!). He has lung cancer, caught a bad infection late last year, wasn't doing too well. I was kind of surprised he didn't show up at Jim Rice Night. I was starting to think things weren't looking good for him so I posted that over there. Then I get home and see him being interviewed on the news and heard that he will be in the booth tonight. So, yeah, Opposite Girl strikes again!!

And mookie, not posting this over in the BU thread, but I had also heard that Jack wanted to raise the banners at the exhibition game the first weekend in October, to get it out of the way. If I had to choose, I'd rather it be at the Michigan game.

Laundry's done! Gotta throw my unmentionables in the dryer. I want to start throwing things in my suitcase to see if I've got too much stuff.

you know what?!?! if most of those kids weren't already committed, the USNDT exhib would be the best bet!

-plus, we could actually have the time to do it right 'fore an exhibition game. wasn't it you that told me the last time we had banners up and it was rushed and sux'd - that it was because joe bertugnia ruled that we couldn't waste time?

BTW, as to your 6am flight to Vegas...that would be an easy flight for me. I could change my schedule to a complete night schedule (later times) as opposed to earlier for a day or two. :p :(

Re: Rep Lodge 80: In a row?

Defending on the 20th: did you submit the tentative approval form yet
Defending on the 19th (me): no, what form?!
Defending on the 20th: its due a week before the defense (today)
me: &@#*$(#$#$@#&%

granted this is paraphrased but this is how my school day started... having to get signatures on short notice is not fun... I don't know why they needed that and a copy of the dissertation.
