I got the roof cleared off. Wow is that is a ****ty job. Cold as all hell, slippery(almost fell off about 4 times), and there was about 5 feet of snow up there. After I got it all off the roof, I had to plow it all away from the front of the garage, since all of the snow accumulated right above the garage door. Oh well, it needed to be done.

Otherwise you could get a metal roof, but I suspect that this is a bit closer to your price range. ;)

I don't think a roof rake would work with what I was dealing with. Way too much snow and it was packed too much since it was just a huge drift. I don't even know if it would have slid off of a metal roof, it isn't sloped enough and the way the drift was positioned I think it still would have been stuck up there.

Caribou Coffee raised their prices starting today ($0.10-0.15). :(

I think they are trying to make us forget that by offering Any Medium Hot Drink for $2 tomorrow (Tues, Dec 14th).

canadians don't put enough cream in their coffee. for the first three days at tim's i kept asking for 'cream and two splendas'. i would get something 'almost black'. finally i asked for 'extra cream'. still the same. finally friday one of the girls heard me and told the other, "put in two creams.." ?!?!?!? better, but still too dark.

Good morning MEUSA, Ralph and tLodge! I hope everyone is well!

I just wanted to pop in and say hi. We returned from NC last weekend and apparently brought the winter weather north with us. It snowed last Monday morning, which then melted a little and formed black ice on the driveway. Which of course I tried to walk across wearing snow covered sneakers. That didn't work and now I have two bones in my shoulder where there should only be one. Miss Wiggle is fine though, she was safely inside at the time.

The doc says that it is healing well and we should be able to avoid surgery to set the bone. :)

Snow. Just a dusting but I guess that means it is winter- finally.

Only 4 days of work left this year. Bonus, it's that "I'm here, but really have nothing to do" kind of work.

$2 coffee was delicious. I might get more later. The office coffee is crap, so that is not an option.

Best coffee from Tim Hortons I've had was. Large with four sugars and four creamers. A friend asked for it that way a few years ago and it was pretty good.

Yeah, I don't really pay attention to that. It isn't the first time I didn't realize it was my birthday until someone mentioned it to me. A couple weeks ago I knew it was coming up, and thats kinda the reason we had a mini get-together last weekend, but after that it just left my mind.

My mom texted me also, for the birthday. apparently my parents want to take me out to eat tonight. I guess that's a good thing.

Once in a blue moon, I'll put something in my coffee, but generally I just take it black. Then again, I've always liked the taste of coffee--I would have been drinking it regularly at the age of 10 if my mother hadn't put a stop to it.

Wow, OK. This must be a guy thing--both FM and my brother are pretty "meh" about their birthdays, too.
