Re: Rep Lodge 126: Merry ****ing Festivus!!!!

50 degrees here. Had a monsoon last night. 30 by the end of the day. Still no snow.

Re: Rep Lodge 126: Merry ****ing Festivus!!!!

Good Monday Morning Lodge

Why would it take longer to get to work today, the roads were fine...it didn't take any longer than normal for me. When I left home it was -17 degrees at the house, thats a bit chilly.

Re: Rep Lodge 126: Merry ****ing Festivus!!!!

Good morning, Lodge. Roads are fine, my sourdough batter looks fantastic, and this afternoon, I think I'm going to clean the kitchen.

Re: Rep Lodge 126: Merry ****ing Festivus!!!!

Morning Lodge.

Well, no kind hearted neighbors cleared my drive for me.:( Parked on the street and waded through the snow, changed boots, put on snow pants and got out the snow blower. Mrs and Jr got out shovels and cleared the steps and sidewalk while I cleared the drive. Then pulled the car in the garage and unpacked. Got done about an hour after we pulled up.

The kids took 2nd at the tourney, losing 4-3 in a close final game vs Hermantown. Not bad considering we are a B2 and never faced another B2 team. First and last opponents (Duluth East and Hermie) were simply B teams from smaller associations in smaller districts where they don't have B1/B2 and the middle one, Andover, is a B1 team.

Re: Rep Lodge 126: Merry ****ing Festivus!!!!

Good morning all. I'd say Happy Monday, but really - are Mondays ever happy? It's very mild here today. The temperature is supposed to drop by the time we head home. Lots to do today so I should be offline for most of it.

Good morning, all!
It's a balmy 8 degrees (feels like -6) in North West Bumblefart 906istan this Monday. I'm holding off on my run until the feels like is closer to 0, and I'm going to btich out the next runner friend who gripes about using a treadmill today.

Congrats to goldy jr.

Embarking on the marathon sugar cookie baking thing. Rolling cookies takes forever.

Re: Rep Lodge 126: Merry ****ing Festivus!!!!

Checking in to the Lodge. Busy week last week with the kiddos and busy weekend on Saturday visiting with tcbg's mom and family. Luckily, it was very quiet yesterday (despite not getting to watch my Giants game  ) and it's shaping up to be reasonably quiet (as reasonably quiet as it can be with 4 kids) today.

Edit - congrats to goldy jr. and li'l (saw in the extras thread)! Chocolate milks for a job well done!

Edit x 2- Ugh - I don't even want to think about making holiday cookies. I was going to, but I think I'll just forget about it. Will make peanut butter blossoms for the little bro before we go home for Christmas Eve, but that's it.

Re: Rep Lodge 126: Merry ****ing Festivus!!!!

Power just came back on after a wild night, 50 60 mph winds, several inches of rain, what a mess. Glad this storm went west of us as it would have been feet of snow just like MSP instead its 55f and the 3 or 4 inches of snow we had is gone. Think I have the flu or some other virus, feel like crap

The radio is kinda funny this morning. The schedule got all messed up because of the Vikes game, so Common was supposed to starting at 10:00. He's called into the morning show a couple times already, apparently he left Woodbury at 8:30, and now he is just going by the University. Wow.

Back in DC. A bit of a windy flight until the pilot figured a good altitude. (I was going to say how high he should fly, but I thought better of it. :p)

Hmm, I would have figured that the only "rocks" that you'd be in the market for would those of the "crack" variety.
