+1 on that. My smoked turkey was excellant also, good job by us :D. People brought food, rolls, smoked salmon, pies, holy moly I eat way too much and I haven't had any pie yet. The best part is its mostly cleaned up and they all left:D

That's one place we never made it to, unfortunately. And my wife worked in the Longworth Building, just up the hill. Oh well, I hope you thawed out all right.

Glad to hear tLodge Thanksgivings went relatively well! We were at a dinner where the pumpkin pie didn't cook long enough. Nobody realized it until all the pies were set out; then they went to cut it and gloooop! :)

Appetizers. Joining those at the ate way too much table. Huge bird this yr/ tons of meat. 2 pots of stock on the simmer and I am exhausted. My FIL is still here so I can't change into my robe and flannels. Sigh. I am exhausted.

Headed back up to camp to try and find that whitetail buck. Be back Saturday night, enjoy hockey if your team is playing, mine is hoping to steal a point against BYE this weekend.

Yeah, I just got back from the movies and did a fridge raid. It's good even cold. I don't think anybody has really touched the pies yet either.

Working too. :( It's the first time that I have ever worked the day after Thanksgiving, but why throw out a day of vacation time which I will receive after I retire?.

Easy money today at work. Only dealing with the UPS Next Day Airs, which we'll have maybe a dozen all day.

Still full from yesterday. Success.

My uncle gets a free turkey from work every year, so they went with that. However, my family loved my side dishes, and they want me to cook for them again. :)

Good morning, Lodge. Spending some time chasing down a new debit card, driver's license, etc, because I lost my wallet yesterday... :mad:
