Cripes, MNS! Take it easy for the next three days. I hope this doesn't negatively effect your health screening for the job... :(

Checking in from home where the satellite tv isn't working again (2nd time in about 10 days). Customer service says they can ship me a new box that will get here Wednesday. I explain that we're leaving for Thanksgiving and there won't be anyone here until Sunday night. She says I can pay about 20-30$ more and have it there Tuesday. Not actually sure that that's the problem. Getting pretty fed up with service at this point and thinking about canceling (once I figure out what the cost would be). Plus, I CAN'T F*ING WATCH FOOTBALL ON A SUNDAY!!!

Tell them you're considering cancellation due to crappy service and then see what their reaction is.

I was under contract, too, and I was ready to tell DirecTV to stick the whole thing up their *** over Sunday Ticket Red Zone last fall. I was taken care of to my satisfaction.

Went down the wrong pipe, so I started coughing rapidly and really hard (probably what caused people to think I possibly had a seizure). As I was coughing I got hypoxic, and next thing I know I'm laying on the ground with people telling me not to get up. Unfortunately, I didn't remember the coughing part until after I left the hospital and was able to think without being bombarded with 20 questions...so, I have to get checked out back home to rule out the seizure thing. Biggest thing for me now was how this affects my medical clearance at all.

There was literally one other person at the hospital and they STILL couldn't get me out in time to make last call at the DT...

There. Groceries are put away and game-time "supplies" for Friday are in house.

Haha, except the overall goal was to get you to stay out until last call AT A BAR....not in a hopistal waiting room....oh well....there's always next time

Glad to hear everything seems to be alright MNS, hopefully it does end up being that way in the end.

So, I'm getting ~$2500 in refund checks... meaning I'm going to have 1 check of ~$750 for drinking the rest of the year and another of ~$1750 for "fun." This HP1015 to the UP in january is looking better and better, assuming my studying for these **** tests starts going better than it has started. Gotta crack down and work my butt off these next 2 weeks, this is going to determine whether I go or not, essentially.

Looks like I picked the right day this week to fly out of town. As it's supposed to snow the day before and day after. Also glad my scheduled return is Saturday. That way if there is problems again I have another full day off to get back in to town.

And my Jeep has ANOTHER farking rock chip crack in the windshield.

That's two cracks within 300 miles of each other.

And you wonder why I'm always so bitter :D

Hey kids. Back from the Patriots game and my phone/internet/cable is back online so I called Comcast to cancel the service call tomorrow. Thank God. Pats game was fun. It was cold. We left after the 3rd with the Pats up by 14. Heard it got to 17. Then of course we listened while the Colts almost won it in the final minutes. Seriously?? Why can't they just win? Oy.
