Dunno...both you and I appear to have humanism in common although I would argue the detailed moral platform of Chrisitanity takes the broad concept much further.

Hmm....awfully close to Easter. These pigs didn't happen to be born in a manger, did they?
Great. Zombie pigs. That's all this world needs.
Miracle Max is back in business!!
Interesting concept. Are you truly dead if you're brain dead?

For the record, I am an organ donor.
THis was heartwarming. As I read the Pastor asked us to think of what it must be like to find out their debt was forgiven. I have taken care of people like that. They would have been beside themselves with joy and relief.Church, instead of promoting Easter celebration, clears about $2.2 million in medical debt for 1,600 people.
But they did it quietly, instead of the left hand informing the right hand of what it was doing.
FWIW:
Legally, brain dead = dead. Most hospitals have "Brain Death Protocols" that are very specific. If the criteria for brain death is met, the patient is dead according to law ("not only merely dead, she's really most sincerely dead"). Upon being declared dead, (at least in my state) following the wishes of the family is no longer required. IOW, if the family demands the patient remain on life support, the physician can remove said support. (Mind you, this type of scenario is never that black and white but the law is). However, organs could not be harvested without family approval.
How miracles happen.
I see our current president in my toilet bowl every morning at around 6:30.
He's less orange in person.
