Religion: Communion Toast Crunch

With the MAGA politicians going ape**** over Trans Visibility Day falling on Easter, it is important to note that next year Easter falls on April 20th. So when they say "he is risen", you will have to ask to them to clarify who since that's Hitler's birthday.

Also... Jesus never received genetic DNA from a man, leading me to believe he was either intersex or a trans dude, and the boys were really impressed by his top surgery.
 
There's a company called Penzey's Spices that is weirdly politically active for a company that sells ... spices and seasonings. But yesterday their Easter email had an incredible point. They are not, to my knowledge, much of a religious institution, but pointed out that Jesus repeatedly said "what you do for the least of us, you do for me". And who have we decided is the least of us? Well, trans people.


So, Christians, what are you doing for the trans folks? How do you think Jesus would respond to the way you treat them?

Penzey's had a "Republicans hate Black people" sale for MLK Day a few years back. Think every order came with a bunch of Black Lives Matter stickers and they donated a percentage of sales to the NAACP.

Their spices and herbs are legit awesome, though. We never buy cinnamon anywhere else anymore. Am sad they're online orders only, now, cause going to their store was a treat for the nose.

I wasn't even aware they had closed the storefronts, but that makes sense. I hadn't been in one in years since it used to be a 1+ hour roundtrip drive for me to shop there. Ironically, I now live quite a bit closer to where that store used to be.
 
There's another rapture prediction for Monday's eclipse.

At this point, I should get a free coffee.... "survive 5 Rapture prediction, get a free coffee."
