Edit: Marian is in. That can't bode well for Oswego.

So all those people (and I was definitely one of them) that screamed holy h*ll when the ECAC NE got an automatic bid were all proven wrong. The AQ did indeed raise those weaker conferences to become more competitive.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the West committee swapped Marian up to #3 in the region because they had confidence UWSP was going to earn the Pool B. This may have given Marian a more advantageous comparison.
