Regional Rankings

Re: Regional Rankings

Yet, the absurd practice of awarding of AQ's to tournament winners has had the effect of weakening the field, clearly... (I assume you're a big fan of the Electoral College, too. )
That decision is up to the individual conferences. They have all independently made those choices.

In my opinion, Hobart deserved the NEHC outbid more than Norwich did. Norwich does not deserve a spot in the field.

Not giving a sh*t for TODAY does not imply any other thoughts and feelings.

But go ahead and continue being a genuine dick.

I've been here for about a week with this broken record, but I couldn't say it with this much class! Tried to give you positive rep, but I wasn't allowed!

Re: Regional Rankings

Interesting predictions by Matt...

Seems like they ventured away from predicting what the committee would do and went with what they wanted to do. I think Oswego is in, and should be. I don't have a problem with all of the first round games in the east - it seems the top three western seeds deserve the bye over any of the eastern teams.

#1 & 2 in east and west should get the byes. 2 quarterfinal games in each region. With Hobart, Geneseo, and Oswego in my opinion all in this can happen. Eastern first round winners will need to go to Adrain.. gonna be interesting to see what they do.

How about this one, Einstein...

East:
1.Salve
2.UNE
3.Hobart
4.Geneseo
5.Endicott
6.Utica
7.Trinity
8.Oswego

West:
1.SNC
2.Adrian
3.Marian
4.Point

Without any AQ's, the bracket is as close to perfect as is possible.

There is a rule - if flights can be avoided, they will be avoided. The only possible first round and quarterfinal opponents for Adrian must be within 500 miles. Genny vs. Os can't be a first round because same conference. A mix involving Hobart won't fly because that would put a matchup of two #2 seeds in the quarters.

Re: Regional Rankings

You are in the wrong thread dude. People in this one are discussing what the tournament will look like based on the rules that exist in the real world.

Not if Hobart is the #3.

Re: Regional Rankings

Hobart and UNE are very close in RR criteria so the final #2 and #3 is debatable ,but perhaps the deciding factor is the record over the last 25% of the season where UNE is 4-2-1 and Hobart is 6-0-1...I have no idea what the committee will decide but end of season record is a factor.....and selfishly , I really don't want to go to Adrian.

Re: Regional Rankings

Is there a selection show on tv, or just a release by the NCAA. 10:30 am did I see somewhere ??
