I remember 93 like it was yesterday. Enjoy the Natty, the first one is awesome. I know some of you guys have been waiting and watching for years. It’s only hockey but man does it feel good when your team goes all the way. Bonus for sending the gophers home with nothing ; ).

Absolutely unbelievable. To win in that manner, against a blue blood like Minnesota was so sweet. The fight in the boys to stay the course throughout the third, to finally get what they deserved in that game, was unbelievable. Rand to make that pull call after what happened last year, and for it to work. He waited till Minnesota put their line out before pulling Perets and Motzko immediately was screaming at his kids to make them aware, a great chess move. Then to not let our anxiety go further, slam the door shut with an exclamation 10 secs into OT…incredible. I’ve watched that video 100 times, every part of it is remarkable, punctuated by the skeet shooting celly and stick toss into the crowd…unforgettable.

It was great to see so many old faces and the tears were flowing after the game from everyone. I spent too much to be there, but it was worth every penny to witness that.

The heartache of years past helped me start to believe that the talent gap would continue to bite us on the biggest stage. I think in the back of my head I didn’t believe last night could ever happen, but I convinced myself we could do it. It feels like a demon was 2013/16 (mainly 13) has been exorcised. I love everything to do with this program and especially the friendships that have came because of it. Proud to be a Bobcat

Yes they did, multiple times during the broadcast. It was the radio announcers, not the TV announcers. BC's TV announcers had nothing but nice things to say about QU's program.

Here's hoping our home opener is against BC so their radio announcers can witness the banner raising in person!

We need to refer to this as THE GOAL. The right play executed exactly as drawn up with Quillan totally undressing Close. Keep in mind that the initial drop was won by the Gophers and ended up in the QU bench. If Quillan doesn't win that draw back to Metsa, we don't score and who knows how it would have ended up. We had all the momentum but it was sudden death overtime where anything can happen.

So happy for the team and staff, the alums and students that have supported the team, and of course myself. But most of all I'm happy for Rand. He is the father of Quinnipiac hockey as we know it and has built this team, and others before it, for this purpose.

No. It's a complete fabrication but whatever works for this poster. And the best team i have seen BC put out was 2010-2011, right in the middle of a 3 titles in 5 years run. But that team didn't win it all that year. Now get back to stalking Ty Smilanic.

Congrats to Brave-Bobcat nation. After watching the boys get outdrawn in crowd size ten fold by Hamden High in the mid 90’s to drawing the same size crowd as the Easties, to taking over the NIP to the brand new barn to national champs. Congrats to you all, congrats to Rand, my sympathies to those who were in Pittsburgh and/or Tampa 1 but didn’t make it last night… we held down the fort and repped for you. I can’t help but missing the heck out of my grandpa, who took me to games at all four of our home rinks throughout the years and then he worked the games as an usher at the new palace when it opened. I hope you were able to see that game last night gramps, you woulda been so happy. Let’s enjoy this!!

Mark 1000%. Rand, the coaches, Coach B, The boys that came back for unfinished business, and the buy in from day 1. QU out gutted and out grinded a talent ridden team, and after the first period, really frustrated them. The scouting won the game on Thursday, and Minnesota's lack of scouting lost them the game on Saturday. They've run that play at almost every center Ice face off this year. To not be ready for it in overtime is inexcusable as a coaching staff.

One note, Quillan won the face off, but it was Graf who tapped it back to Metsa to start the play. Total team buy in. Can't wait to celebrate with the team and BOBCATNATION Tonight!
