Quinnipiac Bobcats 2022-23: The Quest Continues...

I don't see bragging rights for the Big Ten yet. Although the 36-4 goal differential was an eye opener the second games will be tougher.

It may very will be the case that Merrimack has been disrespected over the years, but there's little doubt that in the lead up to yesterday's game Quinnipiac, despite a 30-4-3 record, while playing in a league that is probably the equal if not better than the one the Warriors play in, was the team that was disrespected. I mean 4 out of the 7 "experts" over on CHN were chugging the Warrior kool aid and picked MC to prevail. Of course 6 of them also picked Harvard over Ohio State.
 
Kudos to this program to be able to play on the top level with the top programs.. same for Merrimack. The portal is killing ALL the small schools and they get the players the top programs get. Q will also be able to pick as they play with the big boys. cheering for this team to win the tourney

You know how Alaska won 22 games this year?? Their coach did a great job bringing in players via the portal. If your coach can't recruit players, you need a new coach. Quit making excuses for teams that took a crap in this tournament.

Minnesota Gophers # of transfers in ZERO, # of transfers out 7. Who did that benefit??
Michigan Wolverines # of transfers in ZERO, # of transfers out 1.
Ohio State # of transfers in 1, # of transfers out 1
Penn State # of transfers in 2, # of transfers out 2 - PSU definitely got 2 decent players.

Not sure how the transfer portal has ANYTHING to do with what you're seeing this year.

Let’s go take this one from the jump boys. Leave no doubt. We know the forecheck will be intense so we’ll need to limit turnovers in the D zone and Yani will have to bail us out a time or two like he has for two seasons. We do that and have the compete level we had on Friday, good things will continue to happen. Wish I could be there! Know plenty of alum friends who are going. Should be a home crowd!! Let’s GOOOOO!

I was at that game. Quinnipiac's legs were gone later in the game due to their triple OT game again Penn State.
I don't have any illusion because of Ohio State's rout in their Friday game it will be easy today, both teams will have to work hard.

Bobcats climb trees!

It's ironic that Q and CU fanbases trade barbs so vituperatively given that Pecknold and Schafer have run camps together and appear to legitimately be friends.
