A nice win for sure but we let BU hang around all night. The Terriers had spurts where they were very good but for the most part the seemed out of sorts. We should have taken advantage of that but didn't.

I don't think the break has good to the boys... certainly not their best hockey. Maybe getting back to class next week and into a routine will cure whatever is ailing them.

WQAQ broadcasted all home games after the new building opened when I was there -- they no longer have a sports department, QBSN is now the student broadcasting group. I believe they do home games only, and it's all on a stream.

Ottennger(sp) played very well, after the goal by Desi that is, but last night made me even more comfortable with Shorty in goal. Lots of action, a little luck, but he made some big saves. I would think KP sees action against HC and maybe is some lower risk Games but Shorty looks like the big game guy.

What a night for Fortunato! Last time in that arena and he has a game like that. Felt great for him and the team mobbed him after the game. Hopefully they get back to pre break form, but this was a big win and they looked like a team.

Big weekend to watch next weekend, Cornell plays Home and Home with Colgate. Could be 4 points ahead and +2 in the loss column. Q Needs to beat the bottom and deal with Clarkson and Yale as well for 2 each. Not an easy road.

Think its important to keep in perspective there were 9 Fresh in the lineup yesterday. 9 kids who grew up hearing only of what a powerhouse BU is and how many draft picks are on the other side of the ice. They did a great job overcoming the mystique, and this is just one more step in all of them truly believing in themselves. Great character win, led by Fortunato and all the upperclassmen. Great mix happening.

Two weeks off from ECAC play and only 2 points out of first with a game or two in hand against 3 of the 5 teams they trail or are tied with is probably as good as we could have hoped for today.

The Colgate OT winner was a nice gift. Being Idle gave Q. A little pairwise bump as well it looks like.

Five weeks to Crush it! Destiny is still in their own hands. Let’s Go Bobcats!

Unless someone has inside info or knows someone on the team, we'll never know those details. The staff, and Rand especially, are tight-lipped about that stuff (as they probably should be).

I'm hoping that being back in a routine after the holiday break keeps the team focused going into the stretch run. Lots of points out there to be had (and much needed). They're in a great spot pairwise and need to maintain that position.

First of many critical games tonight.

Is this ESPN+ announcer serious? I know he's Clarkson's radio guy, but ... jeez. We got spoiled all those years with Schweizer; it'll be a miracle if I make it through this entire game without my ears starting to bleed.

A little inconsistent at times, and the offense disappeared for the middle 45 minutes, but a win's a win, and that's one of the best wins of the year so far. Really impressed by Clarkson, they're very talented. Have a feeling we might be seeing them in March.
