I sure hope so. Definitely something amiss with this team right now. They are definitely snake-bit in the scoring department. Lots of shots from outside the dots, not enough traffic in front of the net... eventually something has to give, right? They need to dig deep and finish the first half on a positive note this afternoon.

They are missing high end talent up front that can finish.

I think this is true. I also think it's true that they're a bit unlucky at the moment. Their shot% should return to normal, it might have already started last night considering they scored on almost 9% of their shots.

You are correct there.......for the first time this year you have dropped below the bubble coming in at 17 in the Pairwise. A lot of teams above though I think are overrated and once they get more games under their belt will drop. Cornell being the prime one there. Just don't see Cornell hanging that high.

These guys look like they're just flailing around offensively right now. They look like they've run out of ideas, and their struggles have gotten into their heads. Frankly, the break couldn't come at a better time. They need to not think about hockey for a while.

It was an embarrassing weekend for this team and program getting swept by Princeton. Just awful.

The effort is there as evidenced by the shot totals. The problem is cohesiveness... too much freelancing, or plain trying too hard. I believe it's a slump, but another thing I see lacking out there is heart. Someone needs to step up and lead on the ice. Perhaps playing from behind is part of it. They've got almost 3 weeks to work on it. The holiday break is always tough but that's what separates good teams from great teams. I know the talent is there; we've seen it already. They need to figure out how to capitalize on their opportunities. Open nets, posts, hot goalies... sooner or later something has to change. Lot's of hockey left to be played.
