Quinnipiac Bobcats 2016-17 - It's 873 miles to Chicago...

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2016-17 - It's 873 miles to Chicago...

I was just looking for one myself. Stunning that there doesn't appear to be a stream.

I wouldn't be surprised to see this done on purpose to bring more ticket sales and tourism to the Pittsburgh area for the New Year's Holiday.

Doesn't do anything for the fans and students that can't make the trip.

If so, it's a really bad idea. Far more likely is that the tournament organizers don't have a mechanism for streaming, since that arena does not normally stream its events. It's not a good reason, but that would be my guess. A very bad job either way. It's 2016, college sports events need to have a streaming presence.

If they were hoping to boost ticket sales, they failed -- miserably. Upper deck isn't even open, and when I just looked on Ticketmaster there are a ton of tickets available. The lower deck is maybe half full for today's session. Maybe.

Good win though it came against a severely depleted BC team missing Colin White, Casey Fitzgerald, Joe Woll along with Jesper and Julius Mattila.

I agree with you about their missing players, but the Pairwise won't care at the end of the season. Huge, huge win. Might end up as one of the biggest wins of the season once we get to March.

Huge win for morale. This team needed a victory to get things going in the right direction for the second half. Listening to the first 2 periods and watching (via the Twitter feed) the 3rd, it seemed like they played with some heart and desire. Still appear to be snake-bit in the scoring department but that should work itself out.

They need to go out tonight, take it to the Colonials, and bring home some hardware.

Go Q!

Seems as if Quinnipiac just can't win a championship in Pittsburgh!;)

That was ugly. After a decent 1st period they got outplayed the rest of the way. Doesn't get any easier from here either. They'll need to dig deep and find whatever it is they're missing.
