Quinnipiac Bobcats 2016-17 - It's 873 miles to Chicago...

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2016-17 - It's 873 miles to Chicago...

On to Lake Placid!

That last minute was excruciating.

Sorry, typo. But now it is 3-2. Bobcats are not making it easy.

Quinnipiac was playing against the officiating and the Aint Lawrence Thugs. Harvard is licking their chops, saying they are going to crush Quinnipiac.

Fabulous win for the Quinnipiac-ac Bobcats...they won against all reasonable odds tonight...hope Schutt is OK, he took a nasty hit reminded me of the one Luke Esposito put on Sam Anas last year....Quinnipiac-ac needs a beast next year!

Nice comeback, throw alot of shots on that Harvard goalie and you have a chance. Good luck the rest of the way.

I can't believe I paid for this crappy feed. You can't see what is going on at either end of the ice, the camera is too low. They need multiple cameras. The announcers are weak, too. I tried tuning in to the QU radio feed but it was about a minute ahead of the video!

Makes me appreciate the QU production. A lot.

At least we're winning. I would love a crack at Harvard next weekend!

The SLU announcers were the worst. No play by play and talking the last 2 nights about there adventures as players. Can't believe I had to pay for that...the Q radio was a minute ahead...resorting to listening to Q and muting SLU guys.
Rand and Riga out coached Morris all weekend. Q rolled 4 lines and 5 D and SLU played 2.5 lines and 3.5 D. By Sunday the 2.5 lines and 3.5 D worn down. Q with Shortridge and other Frosh coming of age has potential to be dangerous in ECAC....cannot go in penalty box vs H the pp is deadly

Love the way this team scratches and claws. They're not the best Quinnipiac team over the last five years, but the culture at this program is so strong that they'll find a way.

It's a great achievement to get to Lake Placid. Looks like we need two wins to get back to the NCAA Tournament, so let's see if we can't knock off the Crimson on Friday.

Go Bobcats!

Great to see the fight. Very happy for this group of seniors who stuck it out. Will be a good experience for the young guys, too.

Quinnipiac would be 10th in the pairwise right now if not for losing to Maine, Arizona State & at least one game against Princeton. Think about that for a moment before I go outside and puke.

Brutal.

I assume there's no way they can get in without winning the Whitelaw, right?

I assume you're correct, but you can waste time trying to find out here: http://www.collegehockeynews.com/ratings/yatc.php

Congrats, you guys deserved it this weekend.

Edit: only did a couple scenarios, but I don't see a way to get you above 18 without the AQ.

Whitelaw is the only path. I've been doing the math for weeks. They have just had too many terrible losses that killed them.

Love the updates - Thank you. 6' 6", 194lbs... wow.

Your point that we could have 12 new players incoming next season is interesting and at first was thinking that was too many. Actually, it seems after taking out players we know we are losing due to graduation, right where we have been in the past (~27-30) with this season being a tad smaller roster size. Do we have any concerns of transfers or early departures?

Here are the definite players coming in due being aged out in juniors

Matt Forchuk
Dan Nybondas
Joe O'Connor
Brandon Fortunato - Transfer
John Furgele - Transfer

Others that I have coming in

Odeen Tufto - signed LOI
Keith Petruzzelli
DJ Petruzzelli
Devin Moore
Matt Creamer
TJ Brown
Ryan Finnegan - Signed LOI (maybe he is pushed to the following year as a 1997 DOB)

Is it possible they lose someone like Landon Smith early to a pro deal? Its possible.
