Quinnipiac Bobcats 2016-17 - It's 873 miles to Chicago...

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2016-17 - It's 873 miles to Chicago...

Dang. The good guys can't seem to get anything against this team. 3 games - zero goals (the shootout does not count).

That was depressing. Why can't they score on Hayton? Hopefully they regroup and come out hungry tomorrow night.

Clarkson, SLU, RPI and Colgate also do not charge for home games video streams. However the ECAC has charge of the post season and all quarter-final, semi final and final games are on a pay basis.

BU doesn't either. They contract through Campus Insiders.

0-1 score, 1st period: i don't know for sure, but imagine the boys had a very very long bus ride up to Canton today in the snow....under good conditions, it is 5+ hours in the bus.....plus, with that cold weather, those sodium lights just do not get that bright and it just makes you feel sluggish!! This is going to be a 3 period game, but more important, a 3 game set and I think Bobcats take it in 3!

No team is going to ride up the day of the game, get off the bus and play, I have no clue but like Clarkson did I would imagine they left Thursday morning.

Backs against the wall. Nothing to lose tomorrow. Let's see what this team is made of.

Until I read this I didn't realize how long it's been since we've been in this situation. We have been spoiled as fans...

Potential last game for the seniors on the road (and it's a loooong way from home). It will be interesting to see how they respond. As you said, nothing to lose. Hopefully Rand, Billy, and Joe are spending all day figuring out a game plan to deal with Hayton. He's had out number for sure but I feel we have enough weapons to battle and rattle him.

Dig deep boys and take this series to 3 games.

Go Q!

Most definitely they did not travel Friday, especially with the weather forecast in Hamden. While I didn't see anything on twitter or FB, they usually detour through Lake Placid and get a practice in at Herb Brooks arena whenever they travel to the north country. At a minimum they left Thursday and spent the night in Canton.

Nice way to bounce back. Much better effort tonight. Game 3 tomorrow will come down to who wants it more. Both teams will be desperate as the loser is done for the year.

Love to see the group scratch and claw for one more game. No matter what happens tomorrow night, this program has given the fans way more than we could ask for these last five years. I wouldn't mind a little more, though.

GO BOBCATS

I can't believe I paid for this crappy feed. You can't see what is going on at either end of the ice, the camera is too low. They need multiple cameras. The announcers are weak, too. I tried tuning in to the QU radio feed but it was about a minute ahead of the video!

Makes me appreciate the QU production. A lot.

At least we're winning. I would love a crack at Harvard next weekend!

Aint Lawrence has some cheap shots and lot of help from refs...a real **** tv feed and the ECAC is responsible for that...what a piece of dung that conference management must be.....charging for poor tv....an old and in the way conference name only.....these refs blow, but no matter, whoever wins, especially quinnipiac, will get blown away by harvard....they are pacing the floor doing dances to the hockey Gods to play Quinnipiac....

3-1 Aint Lawrence . . . Quinnipi-done?

3-2 after 2. I'm sticking with it even if I can't see a lot.

The announcers are weak, too.
Every hit by Quinnipiac is a penalty and every hit by SLU is a dive by Quinnipiac. True homers, although Joe Marsh is entertaining as well as knowledgeable.
