Sorry doc... it was an attempt at humor and wasn't meant to insult you. I really do understand and respect you're point of view.

Taking my lunch break at work and just now seeing the news about BC. That's awesome! Dad and I just had the conversation the other day about teams like BC, North Dakota and Minnesota playing QU. I figured it would take One Eyed Jerry to retire before QU gets to play them but I'm glad I was wrong! See Y'all at the bank on Saturday.

As for the Yale-QU rivalry - Yale sucks. Nice hammocks in the quad but that's it. Never met a nice kid from that school. I did run into a Yalie at a Phish show a couple of years ago and I was like, "Oh I guess they can't all be bad." All he wanted to do is talk about how he was on the rowing team. I politely moved to the other side of the field for the rest of the show.

I will say that almost every adult I've met from Yale has been really kind. I remember we were getting a cab into Pittsburgh and a Yale alum was there and offered us to ride with him. He paid for the ride and told us to have a great, safe weekend. Very, very classy. Although I do remember an older guy at Yale a few years ago that told Schvatz "You don't know how to read." So I guess you can count him in the people I don't like over there. Some real nice Yale fans on here though.

I guess the moral of the story is don't talk about rowing to me when I'm at Phish.

In his defense, Yale is the only school that can read. Now how they interpret what they read is another story, i.e. Halloween emails.

Last game before the holiday break. Keep the bus rolling and take it to BU.

Go Q!

Mark, We are in 113 with you tonight. We haven't been to a game since Dartmouth last month. It will be nice to be back!

Heading into the break with no losses would be amazing. Go Bobcats!!!

Q
Good luck against BU tonight .... we (ECAC) need the win to keep us ahead of HE and NCHC.

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2015-16 - Another journey begins...

Well hopefully Q doesn't forget how to play defense like my Midshipmen seem to have done in the First Quarter so far.

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2015-16 - Another journey begins...

I was only able to watch the third period, but from what I saw, the Bobcats were way too easy to play against tonight. Lost a ton of races, not moving their feet, sloppy in their own end ... just not a very good performance.

Garteig's gaffe on the second goal didn't help, either. That's a puck he has to stop. Hard to get too upset with him considering his season numbers, though. That's going to happen from time to time. Not a big deal.

Frankly, I'm kind of glad they lost this one. I'm of the belief a streak like that can get too good to a team, bad habits will start to creep in. So maybe losing the last game they'll play for a couple weeks is good for this group, they can refocus, be motivated during the break, and come back ready to go after the holidays.

I agree Z... one less thing to worry about. Lots of hockey left to play.
