Q controlled that period for the most part. Place sounds dead on the feed. Schweizer and Kotsy cut out pretty early and never came back on for the feed.

How bout them Bobcats. I compeltely disagree with the 5 min major. These ECAC refs are handing those out left and right. The Harvard kid didnt run him into that wall all that hard. Mckernan hit the wall in a way that made it look a lot worse but you can't hand out penalties based on how hurt the player is

I agree but the way I looked at that was, if you want to give Aldworth a GM for his hit you have to give that hit a GM. It isn't great officiating but you need to be consistent.

I absolutely agree. Aldworth shouldn't of been a major last week, this one shouldn't of either. It's all about how you respond though

The difficult thing for these refs to do is decide if the kids are trying to sell the call or if they are really hurt. McKernan definitely sold that GM

Good win for the Bobcats! Controlled most of the game. Shame they gave a goal up on the 6x3. Now on to Dartmouth!

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2015-16 - Another journey begins...

Absolutely dominant. Everything is clicking. Here's to tomorrow! And Yale lost!

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2015-16 - Another journey begins...

Awesome game! Awesome crowd! Awesome outcome!

We were able to neutralize Harvard's top line and bury our chances. Got a little sloppy in the last 2-3 minutes but Harvard needed a 6 on 3 to get a goal. I'll take that anyday.

As Riga said in the post game they need to finish the job tomorrow. No let down when Dartmouth shows up at the Bank.

Guess you guys are for real. See you next weekend. Please take it easy on us next weekend! :D

How did Donato the younger look? That's an impressive result as Harvard has arguably the most snipers in the ECAC this year.

Are you gracing us with your presence? ;) You know whre to find us!

I wasn't impressed... he was just another skater wearing read out there. Same with Vesey to be honest.

I saw him with his junior team last year and had to check the box score to make sure he played...invisible

If Vesey was invisible you must have been playing him perfectly. Given any space at all the guy is terrifying.

They definitely did not watch the game last Saturday. That might have helped them come up with a better game plan.

Could someone please explain how the final two goals were scored 1 second apart.

Really a non factor. Had a decent look on a whirling shot in the circle in the first. Other than that I don't really recall him doing anything other than looking very frustrated. Listen, Harvard is good. They're fast, early on they moved the puck very well and played a great first period. Garteig wasn't tested a lot but the quality was there for the Crimson. It was just a night that Quinnipiac did everything right. That said, I was not impressed with Lackey and Harvard's ability to bounce back from adversity. This is something I love about QU this year. Goaltending has been awesome and we saw them respond to conflict in both the St. Cloud and Cornell games.

Harvard will be around towards the end but at least for one night they were dominated in every phase for at least two periods.

See y'all tonight. Let's continue our streak at home against Green.
