Re: Providence - 2009-10 What is in the glass?

At the end of the day, you live in Holden Maine. A town I am all to familiar with and a system that is slightly below a GED. Hooked on Phonics is an AP course there

Wow, that is original. Resort to insults when you are called out. I see you buckled down and actually tried real hard to get your grammar right, but you missed the comma between Holden and Maine.

Sorry TBF, I am very familiar with Holden and its school system. Kind of surprised the state hasn't seized it yet. At least your kids get to go to gang riddled Brewer for hs.....

Again, original. You were called out for questioning someone elses education and then shown to be just above illiterate status yourself and you resort to questioning anothers intelligience. Brilliant.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 What is in the glass?

who were the two players who said no again?? tell us

I can't imagine ANY player not wanting to come to Providence to play for a doormat program with an empty rink and a coach with a horrible record and reputation.

I'm sure he's lying. HAS TO BE.

he does not have 2 friends who said no to PC.

Hockeydad is right, I just rode by the coffin and there is a line all the way down Admiral Street asking for scholarships.....they all have free Tim Army buttons......Wait they are all girls with field hockey sticks picketing for a new field and the buttons say FIRE not free Tim Army

Re: Providence - 2009-10 What is in the glass?

yes i do. and i'm not saying their names because it's not my place to do so. however, there are only a handful of people who have committed to D1 schools from my state, so work backwards and figure it out yourself.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 What is in the glass?

Hokydad is still incredulous that Joe Thornton was traded.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 What is in the glass?

Exactly! I know players here in RI that said no to Army and PC and I'm not a student. Go back and read the Projo some names were listed there last year. It's not hard to figure out. I don't know why he can't believe that.

If it is so obvious, name them
Are you from maine or RI.

If you are from Maine, outside the kid they just signed on there were not 2 others. Dumoulin was one but he was never offered.

Go do some homework and read the Projo. I'm not calling out players on here and I don't think anyone else is either. There are numbers of players that say no every year to all the teams in DIV 1. Not every player offered a scholarship takes the offer. Believe it or not players do decline offers and accept offers from other schools. What is hard to understand about that?!?!

Because you know something that he does not.

Why are you calling out players? How dare you do something like that to these kids who put their heart and soul on the line every weekend. I can't believe that you would say that this kid isn't good enough. He is a very nice young man and for you to say such a thing is totally uncalled for!

I am not, he was offered very early by BC and that was the only school he wanted to play for. No one else had a chance to offer because the day he stepped on campus, after the Beantown for a visit, they offered and he accepted. Clearly PC would have loved to go after a player and kid like him

Re: Providence - 2009-10 What is in the glass?

same grade as you

there were not two kids from maine who were offered that did not come, 100% lie

You really need to grow up. You sound like a little kid in 5th grade. Why are you so bent out of shape about Maine players accepting or not accepting scholarships?!?!? I don't get it. It's really hard for me to believe that you know every detail of Maine hockey players that are offered or not offered scholarships to DIV 1 schools. How do you know all this? Please explain. By the way, I'm not from Maine, if you read my post you would know where I'm from.
Relax and enjoy your weekend.
