Primelink 2013

Re: Primelink 2013

Not trying to be a smart*****, are you sure you don't have it muted?
Ha - no I checked that...I had audio for the taped video history that played in-between periods, then I came back to it after the game started...nothing....I'll keep at it while I listen to Ray as Morrisville has Utica on the ropes...
EDIT:...and like magic, the sound returns...

Re: Primelink 2013

Streaming Windows Media Video in The Year of Our Lord Twenty Thirteen is absolutely pathetic. When most of your audience has to download a browser plugin specifically for your event, you should probably consider a less deprecated format. The rest of the internet moved on to H.264 video via a Flash or HTML5 player nearly a decade ago. I shouldn't have to watch a hockey tournament today using the same technology that I used to watch the NYS high school football tournament in 2001.

A-Men! Do they realize how pathetic it makes their company look? Hopefully they can get the camera's fixed for today. It almost appeared like the camera person thought it was in wide screen or something. I understand its free, and even with the camera issues, its still better then many broadcasts I've seen. I listened to the broadcasters during game 1, and thought they did a very good job. Had Ducky on for game 2, but no issues with the broadcasters, just need to work on the camera's or have the ones who do NSN come in and lend a hand. Money would be well spent there. While the buffering was better this year, just sad you have to watch it on what was cool 15 years ago........

Re: Primelink 2013

About 12 minutes from puck drop in Plattsburgh as the Cadets take on the Yellowjackets ... Dayn Belfour starting in net for UWS (he is the son of NHL great Ed Belfour) while Zac Fulton, Nevin Lawler and Anthony Flaherty jump into the lineup today for the Cadets as Thieda, McEleney and Stewart get the day off.

Re: Primelink 2013

Prime link should be called Crime link, it should be illegal to sponser a tournament and not be able to broadcast it, especially when the promoter is an information/communication specialist! Bummer of a weekend not to be in Plattsburgh.

Thankfully, George and Tanner are doing a good job broadcasting. OOps, just lodt them too.

It's really not as bad as you make it out. I agree the NU-Midd game had glitches, most worked out before the second period. It is not the clearest broadcast by any means, but better than many. That said, I would definitely rather have NSN any day!

Re: Primelink 2013

Cannot get the broadcast with either a Mac or an iPad. All I get is the PrimeLink page with the notation that all plug ins have been disabled. What ever that means. Using an old Toshiba laptop---with a very, very small screen and two "low talkers" in the broadcast booth. How bush league
