but they were a top ten team last year, weren't they? i know, that's last year but if it already happened last year..............it wouldn't be a surprise this year,:confused: ;) IMO

So Brown is going to win the National Title this year and not be a preseason top 10 team? I like it. Gives Minnesota a chance this year.

Psst - I'm not exactly serious about Brown winning it all, but it's fun to me to look at. I could have written something equally ludicrous and said Minnesota would win it too. :)

Ha, why because I have Miami of Ohio 6th and not at the top? I think "the brotherhood" is going to take a big step back this year after last year's disaster in Detroit. I've always considered Miami of Ohio to be overrated and with Michigan and MSU looking much better, I dont think the Redhawks will have an easy ride as they did last year.

My only reach is Yale but since this is a Pre-season poll and not a poll of what I think it will look like next March, I put them in.

I think the top 10 has a strong consensus so far, but man, I think candidates for the fourth seeds (11-15) are the most wide open I have seen, with rather average looking teams on paper.

7. Yale
8. Maine
9. New Hampshire
10. Denver
11. Alaska (Fairbanks)
12. Minnesota

14. Vermont

I suspect the teams in the top half of your list will make most other pre-season rankings as well.

I would probably put Duluth in the top 10 instead of Wisconsin. Not too sure on the Michigan St. pick. Probably go with Yale as another top 10 team.

It's ok. The loss gave Blasi some extra time to continue his second job as a stunt double for "Mr. Bean".
