Not sure about the rest of you, but my weekend was fabulous. After pre partying at my estate, my driver took us downtown to do some dancing. The club was bumping.
Before we went in, my buddy made us all finish off a bottle of Apple Pucker, which is my favorite.
I would have responded to some of your posts when I got home, but an 80's dance party broke out post-bar at my buddies place, then we all settled down to watch the Team USA kill it in men's gymnastics. John Orozco is fantasic! Besides, there were ladies who needed attention
Anyways, I will try and respond to some of your posts as my schedule permits today.
So you Tiger Woodsed on your wife? That's not very nice at all.
You're on the hook for a bottle of peach schnapps.
And the jealousy begins to overfloweth.
You've got your years mixed up. BC had huge losses in the spring of 2011. 2011-2012 was a rebuilding year for the Eagles. You clearly don't understand hockey. With their losses, and the regression of Milner back to his norm, it's inevitable.

Somebody here doesn't understand hockey, that's for sure.

Just like how they lost a ton of talent (including John Muse) after the 2011 season...and went on to win the 2012 title? Fool.
Now if you'll exuse me, the men's gymnastics team crashed and burned today and I'm not in the best of moods. Going to sit in on a board meeting and then head home. Hopefully Mrs Dubbs will have dinner and a martini waiting for me![]()

You didn't exactly have a net loss in talent because you also added Gaudreau. This year you will see a significant net loss in talent. Unless of course you poach another top-end player late (classy by the way). Not to mention Milner played out of his mind. He'll regress back to his norm.
Again, just preparing you for the inevitable. No team is good every year, and the arrogance of thinking you will be was already trademarked by Gopher fans![]()
Make sure to remember the condiments, sodas and cookies. And clean up after the execs eat. Maybe there will be a leftover sandwich for you to eat as you push the cart back to potbellies.
So adding Gaudreau was greater than or equal to losing Muse, Samuelsson, Gibbons, Whitney, Hayes and Atkinson? LOL. You might want to actually do some research on what happened at Northeastern. Then you'll have your answer as to why Gaudreau himself is the one who opened up his recruitment again. Yes, Milner's numbers most likely will regress, but that will have more to do with losing three defensemen in front of him than anything.
And I agree, no team is good every year. That wasn't your argument.
Sorry, but I'm on the other end of the corporate ladder.
Never said adding Gaudreau evened out the losses. I did say the net loss this year will be greater. And disagree on Milner. He would have regressed to his mean regardless of any defensive losses. Those losses will just perpetuate the issue. BC will be a very average defensive team. And while not average offensively, they will be less potent than last season.
As for the situation a Northeastern, I am well aware. I just don't think a coaching change justifies bailing on a school, and I don't think it was classy of BC to pursue him. Hopefully karma comes around one day.
No. You're not.
