POTUS 46.10: A New Hope

trump is literally saying Russia should do whatever it wants to NATO countries he thinks are derelict in their NATO dues. But most of the voters in this country (all of the MAGAts, a good portion of the independents, and a not insignificant number of democrats) are more concerned that Biden fumbled the names of a couple of foreign leaders.

I truly, honestly believe that if trump is somehow re-elected, before his term is up we will be fighting a war in Europe. I think we are very near an "any means necessary" situation. At this point a vote for trump is a vote for war. It may not be as quite a treasonous act as engaging in violent insurrection to overturn a legitimate election, but it's close.

We won't be. But our NATO allies might be.

Dementia Donnie has already said he won't be committing to aid our NATO allies if they're attacked. He'll just sit this one out, if not outright send aid to his boss Uncle Vlad.

And this is why I say I'm almost to the point of "any means necessary." Actually that isn't even true, I am AT that point. We're not going to survive a second trump term with our institutions intact. If Biden somehow wins a second term, trump needs to be neutralized. His cult needs to see him literally in chains and behind bars. Then let it do whatever it will do so we can finally put them down too. This 5h!t has gone on long enough. We need to learn from history for once.

In 2020, the United States experienced one of its most dangerous years in decades.

The number of murders across the country surged by nearly 30% between 2019 and 2020, according to FBI statistics. The overall violent crime rate, which includes murder, assault, robbery and rape, inched up around 5% in the same period.

But in 2023, crime in America looked very different.

"At some point in 2022 — at the end of 2022 or through 2023 — there was just a tipping point where violence started to fall and it just continued to fall," said Jeff Asher, a crime analyst and co-founder of AH Datalytics.

In cities big and small, from both coasts, violence has dropped.

"The national picture shows that murder is falling. We have data from over 200 cities showing a 12.2% decline ... in 2023 relative to 2022," Asher said, citing his own analysis of public data. He found instances of rape, robbery and aggravated assault were all down too.

Gee, you mean, at the height of Covid, when people were stressed and broke, they went a little nutso?

And once the economy got better, they had jobs and money and the things they needed(like toilet paper) were readily available again, they mellowed back out?

You don't say.

Maybe they all found Yahweh!?
