The "The Biden economy is bad!" line makes absolute sense if you ignore the status of the entire rest of the civilized world, almost all of whom are doing much worse.

Are there any first worlds doing better?

The UK is currently debating the merits of eating bugs for sustenance. If not literally underwater, the rest of Europe is in an extremely tenuous economic situation and still pissed about the IRA. China is one fart away from complete economic collapse. Russia has mortgaged a generation in exchange for getting gelded. Canada's housing bubble is like 5x what the US bubble was in 08, also still recovering from wildfires.

Brazil? India? Australia? Japan? South Korea?

Hmmmm ... look at where that graph was as of early 2021. And now look at where it is almost 3 years later.

You want to take a victory lap for halving the inflation rate - that your guy created with his own stupid policies - which still stands at two or three times the rates that were in place when the last guy left office???

You can ask Republicans OR Independents to base their poll opinions on "the last year" or whatever bogus irrelevant rules you might want to set to try to create a winning argument, but in the end, we will hear "is it better now OR was it better under DJT?" and with that being the case, it's not even a close call.

Heck, even if your boy gets it back down to the early 2021 rates where DJT left off, it doesn't account for huge amount of damage inflicted on the savings and expenses incurred by folks who had to deal with double-digit inflation for the first time in two generations. Bake the cake however you like, but if folks vote their wallets/pocketbooks, your team is SCREWED ... LOLOLOL
 
Biden landed at JBER (Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson) today while on his way back from Vietnam. Some pilot in a Super Cub didn't read the NOTAMs and was forced to land by F-16s after flying over Anchorage today.

Was an entertaining watch though.

And a whole bunch of companies decided they were just going to increase price instead of increase production *cough*oil*cough*.

I know I had to have inflation (and the lag it measures) explained, but Jesus Christ you'd think Chuckie would have a grasp of it before continuing to double and triple down.

Chuckles would be the guy at the poker table who keeps raising his own bid while holding a 2 and 7 offsuit.

It's a lot simpler than you think, swannie ... 2020-early 2021 was under DJT (rates stable if slightly dropping) ... and everything after that, which features an almost immediate upward climb - is Magoo's fault and his enabler's fault. Going from energy independence to kneecap fossil fuel production to start, then putting WAY too much money into the system with various "rescue" packages, and the sharp climb to double digits for the first time in over 40 years.

If you're old enough, you'd remember those days fondly as the "Carter Administration". Nice guy, but THE worst president of the 20th century, yet he's still hanging on in hospice care for what may end up being the longest hospice residency in modern US history. And all because he's enjoying seeing someone even worse at POTUS than he was.

Just own it, it's easier that way, and then maybe normal folks might not think you're some looney leftist cult dodo ...

Again, what is chuckys goal posting here? Last time asked, he said he’s trolling.

Has anything changed? If old news, which has been recovered from, or ignoring real data is still going on, he’s still just trolling.

The lack of relevant or factual data isn’t going to change anyone’s minds, and it’s worse when “feeling” of info is more important than what actually happening.

I almost think the rate of trolling indicates panic, as the improvement in the last year has another 14 months to the next election. And even 8 months ago when things were not all that great, Rs didn’t do all that much in the last election. So they have to fabricate panic and suffering.
