Conservatives will find a way to relieve the cognitive dissonance.

1. The tapes are fake that's not his voice.
2. Snipped out of context.
3. Of course he played it down he was avoiding mass panic -- it makes him a hero.
4. It doesn't matter, Jesus is riding that comet that's going to hit us Election Eve.

In addition to the fact that, for many of them, there no cognitive there.
 
El Hefty got nominated for the Nobel today. As preposterous as that is, I'm going to say it makes as much sense as Obama winning it for an apology tour that he later reneged on.
