I'd love to be the judge who renders judgment. Second best would be the bankruptcy judge who rules the debt nondischargeable. Third best would be the appellate justice who authors the decision granting the creditor fees for frivolous appeal.

After that? Jonathan Edwards' God would be a fitting last stop, I guess.

Trump Says He May Freeze Subsidies to the Poor Until Democrats Repeal Obamacare

On Wednesday, President Trump announced that he plans to use the powers of his office to jeopardize health-care access for millions of low-income people, while destabilizing America’s insurance markets — because he believes that voters will blame the ensuing chaos on the Democratic Party, leaving Chuck Schumer desperate to negotiate with the White House over Obamacare repeal.

In an interview in the Oval Office, Mr. Trump said the White House may lack authority to make the payments established under his predecessor to reduce copayments and deductibles for some of the poorest customers who buy insurance under the 2010 Affordable Care Act. Cutting off the payments could trigger turmoil in insurance markets.

“I don’t want people to get hurt,” Mr. Trump said. “What I think should happen—and will happen—is the Democrats will start calling me and negotiating.”

There are a couple obvious problems with this plan:

1) Trump’s hostage and his ransom are the same thing: He’s threatening to cut off health-insurance subsidies for poor people if Democrats don’t vote for his health-care plan, which significantly reduces health-insurance subsidies for poor people.

2) It will be hard to convince the public to blame Democrats for Obamacare’s destruction, after you publicly declared your intention to destroy Obamacare so that people would blame the Democrats for what you did.

Still, according to the Journal, Trump is seriously considering the idea.

The president doesn’t want to shoot this hostage, but Democrats should be calling him up and begging him not to shoot the hostage. They should be grateful for the chance to negotiate a deal in which he merely cuts off all the hostage’s fingers. After all, who is the public gonna blame for the hostage’s murder: the people who loved it, or the guy with the gun shouting all of this through a bullhorn?

Worth reading the one comment on that article...sums up your sentiments exactly. WHAT HEALTH CARE PLAN DONNIE? As if he has one...laughable. Here is is:

There is a reason that we all call him, "Disneyland Donnie!" This fruitcake is on the moon. Nobody is going to be begging him for a **** thing and Schumer doesn't have to. You see, we are in the middle of one of worst health crisis in recent history and this buffoon is threatening people's healthcare and he thinks that people will blame Democrats? He has to be circling Mars about to land on Uranus if he is really that out of it. I am laughing as I am writing this because everytime I think that he can't be any dumber, he shows me he is. His logic is so off the wall that you have to wonder if he is living in a world of Disneyland in his head. Maye he is living in the twilight zone, for all we know. You know he melted down on television this week and they has to pull the plug on him for awhile. I am wondering if he is flying so high right now, that he is just melting down in his head. You know he threatened the Democrats with violence from his so called supporters, you know he named them, bikers, policemen and women, military forces.....he let Democrats know that if they don't support his re-election and get on board with him, there will be violence against them. Yea, I read that today, as a matter of fact.

You know, it is scary enough that he didn't get this country or our government prepared for this virus but the public is about to explode on him because we are tired of the screw ups and no leadership. All we get is a buffoon on television trying to MC the virus show everyday while he melts down on the press and *****es about how nobody will praise him and his wonderful job he is doing. I can't wait until we can kick his fat, lard, lazy *** out of office and get some real leadership in the white house. I want to tell him to bring it on and tell Schumer to let him stew in it. He wants to take healthcare away from people who are sick and dying righ now???? Let him. Let him take the heat for his own bull****. Let the american people hold him accountable for the mess he has made of our country and the fact that people are dying because he didn't do his **** job!
