Re: POTUS 45:50: Crooked Hillary Clinton. The Real Collusion!!!!!!!

A foreign national selling direct access to the president of the United States to other foreign nationals.

Its a good thing that corrupt Hillary Clinton didn't get elected.

Yeah, but this is FAKE news. That was proven. The whole thing: the emails, Benghazi, the blue dress--all of it.

Re: POTUS 45:50: Crooked Hillary Clinton. The Real Collusion!!!!!!!

Trump budget proposal per Larry Kudlow is proposing 5% cut across the board for domestic spending. More for DHS, more for military, and more FOR THE WALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is everyone is Ohio that's a blue collar worker happy? How about the middle class white collar workers, you happy? Aren't you glad you didn't vote for the email *****?

What has happened to the moral thread of this country?

All that does is shout to me that every time any R brings up any kind of moral beef with anything, they can be ignored as a hypocrite. Pathetic.

As long as you can't abort a baby who likely won't live six months past birth, and will be in horrifying pain and agony for that entire time, everything's cool.

NPR's Don Gonyea had a story a copy of days ago about striking workers from Erie PA picketing at the corporate headquarters of their employer in Pittsburgh. He spoke with a number of the striking workers. All had voted for trump.

One said she would definitely vote for trump again, noting "I have not heard him (trump) try to break unions. They keep saying he's against unions, but I've never seen him go after a union." Another appeared to let his support waiver somewhat, but said he's "not against him." A third said there are still lots of things he likes about trump, but he is "letting the American worker down."

One thing notable about these particular union members is they belong to the UE, the United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America. The UE is one of the more progressive -- some would say radical -- unions left in America. It is one of the few truly member-run unions in the labor movement, one of the few who early on endorsed Bernie Sanders, and one of the few unions that seems to honestly live up to it's progressive rhetoric (no, I do not work for this union).

My point is this, THESE union members mentioned all voted for trump in 2016. This despite the evidence being clear from the first day he ran he was a racist, misogynistic thief who never did anything positive for working class people as well as being members of a union noted for radical -- and successful -- progressive action.

Similar stories have been told about workers in the Chevy plant in Lordstown Ohio who all lost their jobs as of last Friday, as the final Chevy Cruze rolled off their assembly line. Worker after worker who voted for trump and says either they would again, or displays only slight hesitation but -- like the workers in the story about the UE -- can still find things about trump that warrant support.

Things are messed up in America and I don't know if anyone has a solution. On the one hand I say let these idiots rot. They were dumb enough to vote for the trump, let them reap the misery that is coming their way. But I also know we cannot function as a country much longer if we stay as divided as we are. How many bills of any substance will the House pass in the next two years that are voted on entirely along partisan lines, like HB1. which passed on Friday, predictably without a single republican vote?

This level of division is not sustainable. We joke and chuckle about a certain breed of Americans dying off, or segregating in certain parts of the country and leaving those of us who are "enlightened" to bask in the glow of our open-mindedness and all the benefits we get for not hating the blacks and the gays, and of not having an orgasm every time we fondle our firearms. But we should know better. Our nation could not survive that kind of divide in the 19th century. It can't in the 21st either.

So we have to split hairs when it comes to a person trying to sell direct access for foreign nationals to the POTUS?

Why? That's corruption regardless.

I'm amazed how our sense of fair play has been changed by dumpy and his cronies. You can cheat out government of millions of dollars and be told that you are a good person and the penalties are harsh. We somehow think that being buddy-buddy with our former foe is not only good, but we can share secrets with them. We can make a despot who we are still at war with look really good. And at the same time, we take kids from parents when they are looking for asylum in the US, doing it intentionally to prevent more people from coming.

And all of that is ok.

What has happened to the moral thread of this country?

All that does is shout to me that every time any R brings up any kind of moral beef with anything, they can be ignored as a hypocrite. Pathetic.
Congratulations! You successfully refuted a ton of points that nobody was making.

Of course it's corrupt as Hades, but we can still be precise when airing our grievances. There's plenty of REAL stuff to complain about here....

Also, at least a billion of dollars for The Wall funding for Red Don's emergency declaration is going to come from military pay and benefits.

Support the troops!!!!

I dunno when it happened, but politics took a shift in the last 10 years to a point where you are EITHER A or B... If you don't like the entire agenda, you are cast out as "the other side".

I fall into this category: I'm not a gun-nut per se, but I am sure as hell not going to let hunting and sport shooting firearms be heavily restricted and made illegal. I believe in "common sense" gun restrictions. It's like the porn debate: I know an "assualt" weapon when I see it, but I can't define it on paper without citing aspects that would effect accepted hunting and sport shooting firearms. I also lean against immigration in that I believe that people need to go through the "process". The "process" absolutely needs to be overhauled and made more efficient. But at the same time, you can't just waltz into the US and not expect repercussions. I have a "R" aspects about me. I'm called a redneck/racist for these beliefs. They are a small portion of my beliefs, but stuff I WILL NOT budge unless extraordinary change comes about.

On the flip side, to go along with the obvious base for my gun beliefs (Hunting), I am avid about environmental protection/regulations. The only standard I hold other people to is "D.B.a.A." Don't Be an A-Hole. Beyond that, live your life. If 2 males want to become partners and live their lives together and enjoy the benefits of marriage, I support them. If they want to adopt/raise a child, awesome. Preach on the DBAA attitude! By saying these things, obviously I'm a soft Lib-tard in the eyes of the in-bred dumbass portion of this population. I absolutely lean this way, but I'm not 100% accepting of everything on this side either. Biggest thing being just a general disdain for "Southern Culture". Just cause I fish, enjoy auto racing, and like country music doesn't mean that I'm "White Trash" that I described above...

They don't care, he does everything they want short of signing federal laws allowing LGBTQ people to be lynched and outlawing all abortions.
