The two of mine that actually had worked in either the Republican party or a think tank in the last half dozen years have been pretty disappointed. The rest have been exactly like you'd expect.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Plus you're doing the judging from the furthest right pulpit there is. EVERYTHING is moonbat left of your takes.

I had a long post typed up defending Joe and his thoughts on Mitch. But I reread it and asked myself a question: is what Mitch doing more or less honorable than what Ellison, Perez, and Schomer are doing?

So I deleted that entire post and decided to post this instead. The answer of course, is no. No, Mitch is not more honorable or even comparably honorable as what Perez and Ellison are doing. Mitch would push his own mother in front of the bus if it were politically expedient.

No. The problem is our side is going "hey the river is flooding, we need sandbags!" while yours is going "banana! Teh gays! Emails"

It's kind of hard to debate when one side isn't acknowledging reality.

I think we can (mostly) agree on that Trump is exactly what he promised he'd be, as far as personality and his attempts to do stuff for policy. There have been no surprises.

On policy, you're right. But the rhetoric ("A free press is the enemy of the American people") continues to go below and beyond what anyone could have guessed. And it's not harmless blather... it's coming from the president, and it's extremely corrosive.
