You'd have to ask mookie for specifics. What I can say, however, is even during the primaries, the fake news media was trying to "pan" Trump and push Cruz, Bush, and Rubio on the Republican ticket because they're globalists.

That's fine, as I said, I just found it amusing that it literally said "Off to meeting with Russian."

Is there any context to Sessions' Russian meetings?

And has anybody checked Sessions' twitter history? Perhaps he tweeted: "Big luncheon today with Putin, Kim Jung Un and Ayatollah at David Duke's house! #goevilempire #hushppuppiesrule

They were pushing those other candidates during the primaries, clearly. Why else would they publish what Trump said without filtering any of his content, and then just shaking their heads at what came out of his mouth? (fingertips, too, I suppose.)

I thought the Department of State was part of the Executive Branch, thus under the Executive (i.e. the President). Why are any members of the Legislative branch (e.g. Senators Sessions or McCaskill or McCain's recent world adventures) meeting with foreign diplomats? Foreign diplomacy is the Executive's domain.

The Foreign Relations Committee meets with foreign leaders. McCaskill was only involved in a meeting on adoption with the Russian ambassador with 12 other lawmakers.

If we really wanted to strike fear in Kep, I wonder how far, in the list of living alumni from Cornell, he is from Ann Coulter. :p

With Armed Services, yes there would be military diplomacy, but in order to determine what Congress would authorize, doesn't it make sense to have an idea of what each country is willing to provide? And considering both the US and Russia want to kick the snot out of ISIS...

I actually wondered about that. I've never found an Erdos/Bacon path to her. My path to Maher is 3, using Cornell people only.

I recently discovered that one of the historians from the Dunning School at Columbia (the charming folks who claimed educating and enfranchising blacks during Reconstruction was morally and practically wrong because blacks could never be valuable American citizens) was named "Coulter." I wonder if there is any relation -- apparently Anne got her disgusting politics from her parents.

It's also a good excuse for a junket where you can come home and tell the people of Pig's Knuckle that you had "high level talks with the Russian president and he is very interested in buying our fine Arkansas exports." Translation: hookers and blow on the federal dime.
