I have no problem allowing Trump to save face if the terms are acceptable. He'll shame himself tomorrow anyway.

I wouldn't have a problem at all. They offered like $5 billion on everything but a wall. Drones, judges, manpower, etc. Problem is that he's tied himself to the mast on the wall so he *can't* save face.

I would not be happy to let the moron save face. But I know Congress is working on that.

Still, based on his tantrums, the only thing that will save face would be money for the wall. Not money for real border protection, but for a wall.

BTW, DW is a federal worker. So we are directly impacted by this BS. So I actually have skin in the game.

Ironic that we have a dictator running the country, and one of his best buds got picked up using known strong arm tactics.

Well, they could have showed up a lot earlier.

Well, I'm sorry you're stuck in the middle of it. That sucks.

But there has to be a way of ending it through negotiation without the wall funding. Hopefully behind the scenes someone is working on it, but I don't get the sense of that.

Dr. Mrs. is a federal worker, and she's furloughed. This is hurting us. We are both 100% certain that we can't give in to this toddler. We have to set the precedent that this tactic does not work or it will simply become part of the Dump, and then the Republican, playbook.

The cops don't tell the bank robber, "give back half the money and we'll let you go."

Something's gonna happen. ATCs are working 10-hour shifts unpaid and then going to a second job. Eventually somebody's going to roll quadruple sixes.
