Two things:

1) Maybe in a small town he has a point...but most Federal Workers I would assume work in cities. Why the heck would say Costco just let you buy food on layaway?

2) When Trump talks about anything financial he is almost doing a spot on impression of Billy Crystal in Analyze This when he goes to the meeting of all the Bosses. He has no clue what to say so he goes completely vague and rambles hoping either no one notices or a point accidentally falls out.

My guess is his handlers convinced him that the Senate meant he had true power because the House is "lesser". They also werent expecting Pelosi to be Speaker most likely. They wanted someone who didnt have the clout and capital she does. That is why even those of us who dont like her that much said she had to be Speaker for the next two years.

The other problem he has is, the SC isnt lockstep behind him either despite him putting "The Kegstand" on the bench. His attacking of judges he disagrees with put him at odds with guys like Roberts and Gorsuch and his blatant power grabs havent helped either.

When the chickens come home to roost the GOP will be smarting from this for 8-12 years.

It's pretty amazing how they all stand behind him. Even Murkowski and Collins don't have the guts to really stand up to him. Did you see how he described the Votes? Way more Republicans voted for the Democratic bill then vice versa yet he took it as Republicans standing firm, United, and behind him.

Quit with the mind reading claims. It does not serve you well.

We should have 0, zee-row, active "national emergencies". None. Yeah, when the event happens sure. But once Congress gets into session again they should take legislative action and the "national emergency" declaration should be vacated.

We should not be living in a constant state of "national emergency".

If Mueller has the goods but hasn't turned them over, doesn't that make him either (a) inept, or (b) a co-conspirator with Trump?

Knowing Mueller is neither, I'd say that Mueller doesn't have anything that rises to impeachable.
Let him finish, but calls for "impeachment" at this point seem misplaced.
If Mueller had the goods, we'd know.

Anyone have the list of charges against Stone?

EDIT: found them ....

Stone was charged with:
one count of obstruction of an official proceeding,
five counts of making false statements and
one count of witness tampering, according to the indictment.

The charges relate to Stone’s testimony before congressional committees probing Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

Conspiracy/Collusion has already been proven. He should be impeached right now. The fact that you don't think he has the goods is comical.

No one is happy to let him have it, no one is letting him have it and no one is gleeful even though it's true it falls on him.

The Dems are offering funds for border security and both parties have agreed upon a spending bill that Mitch won't present it to Trump. Let's be real here about what has been tried and why we're presently at a standstill.
