Do you mean you agree with both the impeachment AND the lack of a conviction in the Senate? Or just that the lack of a conviction was the proper result? Please tell me it is the latter and not the former, as it would make no sense to believe the trial was proper even though you did not want him removed.

Wait a minute, you aren't really be worried about the future of our democracy are you? That would make you the flaggy of the left. Both Scooby and I are vying for that title so the ring is a little crowded at the moment. Besides, we have nothing at all to worry about. All 63,000,000 people who voted for trump are good Germans. They'll see to it we have nothing to fear as long as trump appears to lose in 2020.

He was impeached on perjury and obstruction, which was correct, IMO. These weren't severe enough to remove him from office, given the subject matter that led to those charges, which I think was also the correct move.

Christ my local cbs station just aired a trump campaign ad. Lies about the crime coming across border and calls out chuck and Nancy and ends with dump saying he supports this message

Yeah, I saw it at halftime of the Michigan-Indiana game. That was a brutal commercial. Can't believe people actually fall for that crap.

There were some comically bad ones last November that showed all of the aftermath of the 2008 crisis and said how we can't go back to that, which is why we needed to elect Republicans. I guess for people who don't remember timelines.
