You think about things from a perspective of "Well, in a perfect world...", and don't give any weight to the actual world we live in. You take everything as it should ideally be rather than allow for things to be counterbalanced because their current state is less than ideal. (Here's where I'll lose you, sorry in advance) It leads you to take some pretty whack positions.
I'm sure my opinion isn't wanted, but here it is anyway
