I think it seems obvious Tump unilaterally pulled troops out of Syria or did it during a meeting where Mattis told him to not do it. So of course he has to whip out his dick and show Mattis who’s boss.

Mattis obviously said “I don’t need this ****” and walked away. It’s also obvious he feels major pressure from the Mueller investigation. So someone like Miller whispered in his ear and said we need an armed conflict. Wartime presidents are nearly untouchable. At least in the past. And usually during the first phase they get a big bump in approval. So he’s pulling back all troops so he can send them off to dump on some ****hole country.

I have to imagine this would normally be where the 25th amendment would apply. But considering the last two adults in the room are leaving by February, it’s now up to Congress.

And as long as ****wad McTurtleface gets his judges, he doesn’t care if the nation burns. So we’re all in trouble here. We have two more years of the worst thing to ever happen to this country in 150 years.

No it doesnt because the "worse ones" you Chicken Littles all talk about arent that much worse than the ones they replace. They all suck just accept it. The more you lionize the POS just because they leave the more you ignore that they are still POS.

It is like the people who think Jeff Flake is some hero...just because he defied Trump once doesnt change the fact that he was a spineless Plutocrat 99.9% of the rest of the time.

They are all evil, they are all crazy and they all dont give a crap what harm they do. Mattis is no better than whoever replaces him.

Doesnt matter they dont have 60 votes in the Senate. That is why the Senate GOP is ticked off they had a deal in place to fund the government before this and The House just blew it all up. Ryan just full on signaled he is done in politics because this was his call.

Abstractly, I don't even think leaving Syria is a mistake especially because Congress never came for authorization from Obama or Trump. Another issue the legislature abandoned responsibility on.

Too bad Mattis sold out his principles on the mid term border 'emergency' farce just weeks before he retired based on his principles.

That's a common outcome with terrrible dictatorial leaders. I'm sure most of Hitler's early accomplices came to have lifetime regrets about their enablement.

I don't think we have any idea whether leaving is a great move or not. We've been sold on the value of Syria for so long...when the source of that salesmanship often has different motivations than strictly its citizens best interest.

But we do know that's what the Russians want.
