Methinks thou doth protest too much. Not only regarding "you didn't vote for him" but you've pretty much protested every criticism waged toward the man "you didn't vote for". It doesn't add up bub.

The Rs went after Obama.

I saw eight years ago all the garbage slung toward Mr. Obama. And believed far too much it. (There, I said it.) And eight years later I still have my guns and I'm not in a WalMart death camp. But Gitmo is still open too.

So, my cynicism to shrill cries and big claims is at an all time high right now.

I see/hear/read the same "He's a monster!" noise. Yeah, I'm seeing more questionable behaviors, but that same stuff has happened before (and wasn't covered, see Mr. Obama's man to Iran in 2008, ala Flynn). So, yup, I'm very cynical. We're all watching the wrong hand of the magician.

Another case for cynicism? Mr. Obama deported 2.4 million people. Mr. Trump wants to deport 3 million. So is one a monster and the other "monster x 1.2" or is one a "0.8 monster" and the other a monster. Which is it?

We have two Parties. And they are both behaving Party above country and have been for far too long.

Can I have a (forgive the lack of gender neutrality) statesman for the first time in a while?
