I think it is. IIRC, this Schindler guy is actually pretty conservative or right wing, at least if it's the same guy. But I assume Trump's comments about the intelligence community are what he's worked up over.

Kind of proves the old adage about newspapers. Not very smart to get into a war of words with someone who buys ink by the barrel. Same way with the spy community. Probably not a great idea to go around insulting people who have both the technological ability, and inclination to use it, to listen to every conversation you have, read all your emails and texts and know what movie you pulled out of Redbox last week.

Thank you for illustrating that trade needs negotiation.

Still don't see why taking into account international partners into regulations are a bad thing. You and others whine that Mexico and China have advantages, so why would we not want them to follow our rules (which are generally there to save lives)? It's not as if they don't see the advantages- China is quickly moving to curbing emissions.

Come on- get beyond Trade 101. Based on your posts, I'd figure that you were a free trade person. Which you would WANT fair trade.

It's a good illustration that all of this proposed protectionism, including banning travel, will not be good for our economy.

This really demonstrates the rock and hard place that the intelligence community is in. They are forced to spy on pretty much everyone, and keep an eye on conversations between us and everyone- with a focus on unfriendly countries. So when they encounter things were people in the US are breaking the law, but it's classified- what do they do?

Something has to give someplace- some will see the urgency to stop that. Sowden is a good example of that- and I appreciate what he did. If this is as big of a fire as it seems- especially with all of the focus on the leaks vs the message- IMHO, it's natural to find someone who is willing to leak it, and expose it.

Screw impeachment, Trump is going to be forced to resign just to protect himself. He'll find some way of spinning it as a positive to his most in-the-tank supporters. It will be better than the alternative of a lengthy impeachment trial, which the RNC will have a strong interest in avoiding.

President Pence? Fine, I'll take lawful evil over chaotic evil, or Disappointed Father over Drunk Racist Uncle. Whatever floats your boat.

Really? You're looking at a "two-state and a one-state"? Does he even know what that means? And you're really happy with the one they both like? In other words you don't have an informed opinion on the subject at all.
