Il Douche is trying to pick a fight with Cuban again. Apparently, the WH is genuinely scared he will run in 2020.

Bernie beat Hill in Michigan without even joining a party. He would have dominated in the Midwest in a general election. When MI/WI go Repub you know the D candidate had to be the worst candidate in the history of people. The bad news? Hill is running again in 2020

Yeah, that's not happening.

Re: POTUS 45.3 - Bowling Green Massacre Memorial Thread

Here's the math:
32 states are controlled by the GOP in both houses
Alaska needs to flip the three Rs that are part of the D coalition and then both houses are R
Colorado needs to have five seats flip D to R in their house
Connecticut needs to have four flip in the house and one flip in the senate
Delaware needs five in their house, one in the senate
Maine - 3 in the house
New Mexico - 5 & 6
Oregon - 6&3
Washington - 2&0

Governors protect Colorado, Connecticut, Louisiana, Minnesota, Montana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia.

So they would need six of the eight states, plus governors in seven GOP-controlled states, and one of Connecticut or Colorado.

How have the Republicans screwed up exactly? Please enlighten us.

Take off the blinders.

The Repubs screwed up by nominating Trump. Or have you not been paying attention to the rest of the world (and a majority of the nation) in the news?

Remember the last time everyone trusted the polls? ;)

There are lies, dam lies, and statistics. Just sayin'.

Re: POTUS 45.3 - Bowling Green Massacre Memorial Thread

Hillary won the popular vote. Why are some of you acting like her loss was some giant message from the public at large? It wasn't. The mistake was Dems in droves chose not to vote in key states because the assumed she was going to win, and she failed by not targeting those states and others during the campaign.

I'm not trying to sugarcoat the loss, but there's quite a bit of hyperbole blowing about regarding what her loss does or does not indicate. I am willing to bet voters will have realized their mistakes locally and nationally inside of 2 years, and if not inside of 4 and the worm will turn again.

HRC won the popular vote because she massacred tD in California and New York. Don't make it more than what it was.

So she massacred the vote where most of the people are. Are there too many hispanics in Cal for all those votes to mean anything?

Are you still pushing this narrative? You could say she didn't win by more because of Texas and SEC country.

Trump won by less than the capacity of Van Andel in Michigan. 27k in WI and 70k in PA. Do you really believe that ~110k people speak more for America than the 2.9 million others?

She and the people she chooses are bad at national campaigning. She took it for granted in 2008 and Obama's team read and understood the rules better, allowing him to get a big delegate lead. She did the same in '16, throwing resources at Arizona and Georgia while the Midwest slipped away. She's a Presidential loser twice over, really, and Americans don't vote for losers, as our current President would say.

Pick someone new or re-elect Trump are the options for the Democrats.

Hillary has never actually lost an election or primary by popular vote.

The entire state of CA didn't cast one vote, millions of people voted independently and Californians from north to south are as diverse as any state in the union.

I'm not suggesting they run her again - I never wanted her to win the nomination. I'm saying her loss isn't represent a broad sweeping demand for 'conservative values' by voters.

btw came across a fun bit from CSPAN many years ago in which Al Franken and Bill O'Reilly got into over Franken's, "Lies and the Lying Liars That Tell Them". Franken should write Part II.
