Well, they're reaching a huge budget CR right now with huge increases in spending everywhere. This after a 1.5 trillion dollar tax cut. You can kiss Social Security and Medicare goodbye. Also, there is no deal on DACA or immigration. And there won't be. General Kelly said the Dreamers aren't a priority for deportation. Tell that to the father and husband who came here at 10 and was here 30 years before he was deported.

Tear down the statue.

I'm convinced Republicans support Trump for no other reason than they like doing anything they can to p!ss off liberals. It can't be anything else.

Completely different take. We're back to the Bush II administration, where you keep everybody happy with massive tax cuts and massive spending. If Paul Ryan had any balls (and he doesn't) he'd be totally opposed to this instead of letting it sail through.

Regarding DREAMERS, they're screwed. Its like gun control. The people who are sympathetic to them won't vote based on this issue, while the opponents will vote for a child molester like Roy Moore if they think it'll get them all kicked out. If lefties want to do something for them, my advice is to show up and vote Democrat in the upcoming Congressional elections. Short of that no amount of crying, marching, or letters to the editor are going to affect Chump's actions.

Disagree on Ryan. This is exactly what he wants. He knows if the government continues to spend at this rate he'll get his way on humanitarian insurance programs like SS/Medicare/Medicaid.

Right, you know the Koch brothers wanted this tax cut and that's where he gets all his funding as well as his job after congress (making horrible shirts with Wyatt Koch maybe?).

Scoobs he has no prayer of getting his way on any of that. Otherwise it would have already happened. Paul Ryan is most likely a year or so away from a soft landing at a think tank with an occasional Fox cable gig sprinkled in where he'll be increasing his current salary by X 10.

Irrelevant. They're going to starve the government by spending money on defense and tax cuts. It's all on purpose and they will get their way cause they already have. It's already trillions of dollars stolen from the middle class.

No, they're not. Starving the government is a BS phrase that they came up with in a focus group, but which they will never actually try to do as it will cost them the one thing they value over country, God and family - their jobs! How does Rick Scott run for Senator in Florida if his party is proposing to undo Social Security to use one example? He might as well not even bother making the race. You'd also assure that vulnerable Dem senators like Joe Manchin become shoe ins since 99% of his state is on at least one of Medicare/Medicaid/Social Security.

What Republicans will do is what Republicans always do - borrow money.

This is how the White House feels about Rob Porter.

The Daily Mail published a comment from White House chief of staff John Kelly praising Porter, in response to the allegations.

"Rob Porter is a man of true integrity and honor and I can't say enough good things about him," The Daily Mail published Kelly as saying. "He is a friend, a confidante and a trusted professional. I am proud to serve alongside him."

So did Sanders.

"I have worked directly with Rob Porter nearly every day for the last year and the person I know is someone of the highest integrity and exemplary character," the Daily Mail quoted Sanders as saying.

That is absolutely the case. I remember it coming up fairly high in a poll a month or two back for the reasons Trump voters voted for a dictator.

Something like 50-60% of all live births are covered by medicare. Think about that for a second.

Republicans are evil. They actually have malicious intent. It's just unconscionable that someone could even contemplate a vote for them.
