The House? Your comment is a little vague.

Something like 50-60% of all live births are covered by medicare. Think about that for a second.
Republicans are evil. They actually have malicious intent. It's just unconscionable that someone could even contemplate a vote for them.
I remember arguing this back in like 2012. I really hope a lot of the "woke" liberals who just don't like Trump because he doesn't hide his racism as well as the other Republican candidates realize that this is a Republican party issue, not a Trump issue.

It's not vague at all. They've been hammering on that issue for months. And a ton of governors across the country DID NOT accept the expanded Medicare with Obamacare which is exactly the same thing.

A lot of Americans are just disgusting people, period. I had to watch the movie Sicko again for a class assignment and it’s almost harder to watch now than before. Many here don’t give a crap about anyone else. The parts where regular citizens in several other nations talk about their beliefs that Health care is a right is really hard to watch. Here we have people furious about such concepts and think it’s more important to have their gun collection.

Well you have the freedom to pursue life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (if you have good benefits from your job).

Who has good benefits these days? Seems like most are high deductible - I basically don’t get medical care because I don’t want to shell out $450 to chat with a doc for a few minutes

Correct. Most benefits are ****. I had better benefits when I first started my career compared to now.

This is a Chump admin executive order and not a congressional action, but point taken. While his waivers will be challenged in court people get what's coming to them for voting GOP. Lots of people in Kentucky and West Virginia on Medicaid. I find it hard to believe a majority of them didn't vote for Trump. You reap what you sow I guess.

Yeah that's a good point, it's like everything else, 1% of the population is comfortable and everyone else not so much.

Where do all of you people work, on a farm? Your employer's insurance co should be negotiating lower rates for doctor's visits and we're given a certain amount of money by the corporation that's put into our HSA.

And don't get me started on mookie's benefits. Lets just say "sensual massages" are covered as part of essential services.

Re: POTUS 45: 28 - Yo Memo So Stupid, Donald Renamed it "Eric"

I'm sure it covers the bare minimum stuff you laid out but if I were to have some type of catastrophic illness I'd be in financial ruin like most people in this country.

So, I'm asking because I'm curious, and not to get on your case, but presumably you're out of college and have a professional job.

Out of pocket limit on your catastrophic illness is 10K a year. Not chump change by any stretch and I don't mean to say that it is. However, couldn't you, over time, pay off that 10K even if you put it on a credit card without being ruined financially, provided you aren't already in debt of course...

LOL. Is that before or after I go on disability at a fraction of my current salary?

Re: POTUS 45: 28 - Yo Memo So Stupid, Donald Renamed it "Eric"

I have that much in one of my savings accounts so yeah I definitely could. But there are definitely families you hear about who have rare illnesses not covered by their insurer even ones like Blue Cross.

Everybody has that in every western democracy. American freedoms have been exceeded by most of the developed world. We are no longer even in the top 10 of free peoples unless you restrict "freedom" to the ability to get rich and keep all your money like Cato or Peterson's group. Or the GOP.

We are great in freedom tos. Not much in the way of freedom froms. The latter constitutes real freedom for 90% of the population and also has.

Among the advanced democracies America is likely the sh-ttiest country to be poor in.

Appears Pelosi wants DACA but her party has abandoned her. Hilarious.
